GLOSSYBOX January 2016 Subscription Box Review + Coupon Code
GLOSSYBOX January 2016 Subscription Box

GLOSSYBOX kindly sent me their January 2016 box to review early and I am so excited to share it! GLOSSYBOX is a monthly beauty subscription box and includes five luxury surprise beauty items shipped to your door.   I have been a subscriber for years (in addition to getting review boxes I also pay for a subscription) and am always in awe at the value they pack into their boxes.

The GLOSSYBOX

GLOSSYBOX ships via USPS and generally boxes ship in the second half of the month (as I mentioned I received this one early for review purposes).  Sometimes it’s the last week of the month, sometimes it’s closer to the beginning of the month.

I went into this box basically spoiler-free.  I knew what one item was, but the rest were a complete mystery!  I must say though, I was super excited by the first look!

The Information Card
The Information Card

The January 2016 GLOSSYBOX included the following items:

~Beautiful Nutrition Lemon Rinse Gentle Clarifying Treatment (~$2): There is no size on this, but I am estimating it to be about 2oz.  This smells AMAZING.  Like incredible.  I am blown away by how great this smells.  Wow!  This is to be used after shampoo and conditioner once or twice a week. It helps to remove product build up, boost shine, increase volume, etc. I thought it left my hair shinier than normal, but I’d buy it just for the smell alone.

~MeMeMe Lip Glide in Playful Peach (Full-Size) ($12.50): From the looks of the information card everyone will be getting the same “Playful Peach” color. It’s quite gorgeous and almost seems more of a nude than a peach.

~-417 Foot Nourishing Cream (1.7oz) ($9): My feet are still peeling from that foot peel I used, but after they are done (so gross) I will be using this amazing cream.  It’s super thick and rich and contains water from the Dead Sea and aloe vera leaf juice.  I don’t know the specifics of how those work on dry skin, but this did make my hands feel like a dream!

-417 Foot Nourishing Cream

~Emite Make Up Diamond Heart (1.2oz) ($29): GLOSSYBOX released this as a spoiler a few days back so this is the item I knew was coming. I am not crazy about the smell (it’s not strong, but it’s there), but the primer left my skin smooth and glowing.  It comes in “Soft Focus” which is very lightly tinted.  The consistency almost reminds me of a BB cream.  This is used under foundation, but honestly I will just be wearing it alone.

~Royal Apothic Cream Creme To Go (1.25oz) ($14): LOVE!  As soon as I opened up the box and saw a Royal Apothic box I knew it was going to be a good month.  I received “Venetian Grove”, which is a soft floral, but the card says scents will vary.  This cream is thick but rubs in easily and is just all around fabulous.

All totaled I came up with a value of $66.50 for the January 2015 GLOSSYBOX.  The value wasn’t the highest ever from GLOSSYBOX, but I loved this box!  I am totally thrilled with it will use every single product in it.

What do you think of this month’s GLOSSYBOX so far?  Just a reminder, GLOSSYBOX has been sending out variations in boxes the last few months so don’t be surprised if your box is a little different than this one.  I don’t know that it will be, but it might.  If you are interested in ordering use coupon code “VOLUMIZE” to get a free Doucce Punk Volumizer Mascara ($24 value) with any new subscription purchase!
