ipsy is $10/month and sends its members a beautiful Glam Bag with 4-6 deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products based on your ipsy profile. Their bags always have an incredible value (well over the $10 cost) and I am always amazed at how they do it. I don’t always love everything in the bags, but I always always think it was worth my $10. They also offer a rewards system for subscribers. You can earn points by reviewing the items you get in your bags, sharing your ipsy bag on social media, etc. You can them redeem your points for products (often items which were featured in previous months) on the ipsy website.
ipsy ships around the 10th of the month via DHL Global Mail. I generally expect to receive my package a week after they ship.
The January 2016 ipsy theme was “All Eyes on You” and included the following items:
~The February ipsy Bag: This bag is great. It’s probably one of my favorite designs they have done. It’s unique and colorful and will be easy to find in my purse.
~theBalm Cosmetics Mr. Write (Now) (Jack B. Bronze) (.01 oz) ($17): Meh. I believe all subscribers received this eyeliner in their ipsy this month (either in Jack B. Bronze or Scott B. Bordeaux). I’m not huge on eyeliner and although I do love theBalm, this broke as soon as I tested it. Oops.
~MARSK Mineral Eyeshadow (You’re Toast) (.03oz) ($5.63): This shadow is a very pretty beige / peach color. It’s pretty neutral, but it has a gorgeous shimmer to it which I like.
~Jelly Pong Pong Fairy Lashes CURL (.27oz) ($21.95): I think this is full-size, but I can’t be 100% sure since I can’t find the exact size of the full size one online. As far as mascaras go, this wasn’t a favorite. It was a little goopy, but I did think it lengthened nicely.
~pur~lisse BLUE LOTUS 4-in-1 Eye Adore Serum (.24oz) ($31.20): What? This tiny sample is valued at over $30? That is crazy! This formula is designed to fight against wrinkles, dark circles and puffiness, while hydrating and lifting the delicate eye area. I found that a little bit of this goes a long way and I did think that it reduced puffiness. The rest I’m not sure about since I haven’t been using it long enough, but I am willing to give it a try.
~Mitchell and Peach English Leaf Body Cream (30mL) ($16): I love Mitchell and Peach lotion! I actually was just about to run out of the tube I had on my desk, so the timing was great. The English Leaf scent (a classical ‘green floral’ with an English twist) is a little on the strong side, but the lotion is so thick and rich I can look past that.
All totaled my January 2016 ipsy bag had a value of $91.78. I did the math a few times to be sure, but that’s what I keep coming up with! The value on this month’s bag was incredible. That said it wasn’t my favorite month from them, but I certainly did get my money’s worth!

I’ve been using the eye cream since we got it in Boxy last month, and I’ve got to say, I. LOVE. IT.
My dark circles have disappeared, no more puffy undereyes. Basically it’s the best thing ever and I don’t look like I chase toddlers all day!
