Lip Monthly is an affordable monthly subscription for all LIP LOVERS. For only $12.95/month, Lip Monthly allows you to discover the best products for your lips, and fall in love with them.
Lip Monthly ships via USPS and is supposed to ship within the first 10 days of the month. I am not sure that was the case this month though since I didn’t receive my package until after Christmas.
The December 2015 Lip Monthly included the following items:
~The Bag: Every Lip Monthly shipment includes a bag that holds all of the products. I have received this bag in the past so it’s not a new one for me. I like the idea of having everything in a bag like ipsy, but I wish they’d do different ones each month.
~Evelyn Iona Lip/Cheek Tint ($22): This can be used as either a lip or cheek product. I personally like it as a cheek color because it’s Glycerin based which is a natural moisturizer that helps sensitive, acne prone skin heal. It’s also all-natural, cruelty-free and free from parabens, synthetics and preservatives.
~MeMeMe Chara Satin Long Wear Lip Cream ($15): This is called “Tuscan Red”, but it’s actually got a bit of orange in it. I’m not a lipstick fan, but I thought the formula seemed last fairly long and it applied smoothly.
~Be A Bombshell Crayon ($16): Be A Bombshell pops up quite often in subscription boxes. It’s good stuff, but I would like to see the more variety. The crayons are long lasting and very moisturizing. I am assuming a variety of colors were sent out (?), but I received “versailles” which is a “rosy pink”.
~MMU – Hikari Blush ($15): Every so often Lip Monthly will toss in a non-lip item. This month it was a blush. It looks bright in the container, but it’s much softer on.
All totaled I came up with a value of $68 for the December 2015 Lip Monthly. For the price these bags pack quite a punch. They do have a tendency to repeat brands though, so that may be something to keep in mind.
