Mommy Mailbox subscription boxes are carefully curated to make all mom’s lives better, easier and sweeter. Boxes contain products which typically retail for between $55-$75 and each box contains 4-6 surprise gifts that change each month.
Mommy Mailbox ships via USPS during the first week of the month (or the last few days of the previous month). I never get a shipping notice on this one, it just appears in my mailbox.
I was so excited to see this month’s box I opened it up when we got home yesterday evening. I try to only take pictures of boxes during the day (the light makes for better pictures), but sometimes I just can’t wait.
The January 2016 Mommy Mailbox theme was “Refresh” and was curated by Kate of The Small Things Blog. The box included the following items:
~Cosmetic Organizer by Isaac Jacobs (~$25): I can’t find this exact organizer online, but I found a similar (larger) one so I estimated the price based off that. I have looked at organizers like this many times, but never ended up buying one. I am so happy I didn’t! Like most people do in the New Year I have plans to get a few different spaces organized around the house and one of those is my makeup drawer.
~2016 Desk Calendar by The Letter House (~$15): This calendar was made just for Mommy Mailbox by The Letter House. I have been hoping we’d get some calendars in subscription boxes so I was super excited to see this. It’s gorgeous and will look great on my desk.
~Blousy Print by Minted ($20): This print is absolutely gorgeous. It’s designed as a “feminine, abstract print full of life and light”. This will also be put up in my office asap!
~Argan Oil by Octavio Molina (1fl.oz) ($7.50): This bottle may be tiny, but it goes a long way. Seriously one drop will make your hair smooth and shiny. It’s for sure not something you want to use too much of.
~Lavender Blotting Paper by Mai Couture ($13): This blotting paper does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It takes away shine and doesn’t mess up your makeup in the process. This is for sure a must have for your bag.
All totaled I came up with a value of $80.50 for the January 2016 Mommy Mailbox. I did estimate a few of the prices, but I can’t see being too off on this. I always love Mommy Mailbox boxes and really think they are great for everyone, not just moms!
