Yay! My POPSUGAR + Target Fit New Year Box is here!
If you aren’t familiar with them, POPSUGAR Must Have Box is an exciting box full of fun, must-have picks across fashion, beauty, home decor, fitness, and more, which is delivered to your door on a monthly basis. Boxes include full-size products and premium items including tried-and-true classics, celebrity favorites, and brands consumers have yet to discover worth over $100!
This box is not their standard monthly subscription box. Instead it is the POPSUGAR + Target Must Have Fit New Year Box which is a collaboration between POPSUGAR and Target to give you the toolkit you’ll need to reach your New Year’s Goals. The box was a one-time purchase of $75 and includes “something for everyone to help you live healthier and happier in the upcoming year and beyond”.
The POPSUGAR + Target Must Have Fit New Year Box shipped via FedEx Smart Post out of New York and took under a week to arrive. I believe it shipped on Tuesday and I received it on Saturday.
Everything looked amazing!
The POPSUGAR + Target Must Have Fit New Year Box included the following items to help you reach your reach your New Year’s Goals:
~Jawbone UP2 Gunmetal Hex Lightweight Thin Strap ($99.99): I actually have an Apple Watch (and had a fitbit which I have given to my 7 year old who gets an insane amount of steps a day), but I was still super excited about the Jawbone. It’s sleek and actually looks more like a bracelet than an activity tracker. It has a 10 day battery life (amazing) and tracks not only steps, but also sleep patterns. A big difference between this and a fitbit (to me anyway) is that you cannot swap out bands on this. The battery is enclosed in the bracelet (the charger attaches to the back magnetically) so you can’t easily change out the look of this. I don’t always want to wear my Apple watch, but this is so sleek that I don’t even notice it’s on.
~Define Bottle Sport Flip Top ($19.99): I own a smaller version of this water bottle and it’s awesome. It doesn’t leak and you don’t end up with weird fruit floaties in your water. Define bottles were once on Shark Tank (which is where I learned about them) and were actually designed by a then 13 year-old who always saw his mom making fruit infused water in large pitchers. He wanted to make something portable and he did just that!
~Mission EnduraCool Cooling Microfiber Towel ($14.99): Microfiber towels feel a little odd, but they do work to cool you down quickly! The information card suggests using it for hot yoga, the gym or workouts on a hot day.
~Luna Bar Dark Chocolate Hazelnut ($5.79): I love LUNA bars! This is a new flavor, but I pretty much like ALL Luna bar flavors. My favorite is the Chocolate Peppermint Stick ;).I love that they included a full box of these in here!
~S.W. Basics Organic Lip Balm Flight ($15.19): I really wasn’t expecting to see this in this box, but I am thrilled! I LOVE S.W. Basics and cannot wait until they start to sell this brand at one of my local Target stores. I have actually purchased this exact flight on my own in the past and I have to say that my favorite one is the Cocoa. It’s very “winter-like” and smells amazing. All S.W. Basics products are made with five ingredients or less which are clearly listed on their labels. It’s not on the information card, but the box also included a sample packet of S.W. Basics exfoliant.
~Skullcandy Method Earbuds ($28.99): I am not sure if I am keeping these so I didn’t open them up yet. I have a TON of headphones right now and the Birchbox “Strong Start” box just included some too. It makes sense that they would include them in a Fitness box, but I may swap them.
~Pixi by Petra Makeup Melting Cleansing Cloth ($10): These wipes are designed to “refresh your face” on the go. They are great for your gym bag or purse and also come in very handy while traveling.
~C9 by Champion 3-Pack Headbands ($4.99): I found these headbands to be a little tight, but they did hold my hair in place perfectly. I get headaches if I wear my hair pulled back too tightly or if I have a tight headband on for a while, so I need to remember not to wear these for long periods of time.
~Simply Balanced Freeze Dried Strawberry Slices ($3.49): These are good, but probably not something I would purchase again on my own. They are freeze dried strawberry slices and while I do think they taste like strawberries (I mean, they are strawberries), I was a little weirded out by the texture. They might be better in something else, like granola maybe?
All totaled the POPSUGAR + Target Must Have Fit New Year Box had a value of $203.42. That is an amazing value for the $75 price tag and I am very happy with this box! The POPSUGAR + Target Must Have Fit New Year Box is already sold out (it sold out in like 20 minutes), but if you missed out, I am giving one away here!
Just a side note: I know that a few people got notifications that their boxes were backordered and then another note saying that they were unable to be fulfilled. As I understand it, POPSUGAR has issued refunds and is sending along a FREE POPSUGAR + TODAY Show Must Have Box as an apology. I think that’s amazing customer service!
The freeze dried strawberries are amazing in oatmeal or cream of wheat. =)
I’m not a big fan of the texture of freeze dried strawberries either but in the same section at my Target they have dried strawberries (like the strawberry version of dried cranberries aka Craisins) and they are SO good. Like a healthier version of fruit roll ups!
I got the same of everything except my earbuds are pink. I really like the look of Jawbone and can’t wait to compare it to my Fitbit! 🙂
Definitely try the strawberries again but I would say in a yogurt or cereal. Or possibly mix them in with a trail mix?
I would love to hear a comparison of the Fitbit vs the Jawbone! I’m on my 2nd Jawbone and I love it.
