Target Renew Beauty Box

My Target “Renew” Beauty Box has arrived! This Target Beauty Box was $7 (they vary from $5-$10) and was available through Target’s website for a limited time only. The latest Target boxes (“Refresh” and “Renew”) were released on January 4th and sold out in just a few hours.  There is no set schedule to when these boxes are released and we never know exactly when it will go on sale. These are NOT subscription boxes and must be purchased individually as they are released.

The Box

Target Beauty Box ships via USPS and arrived less than a week after I ordered it.  They ship from Illinois and I am in Michigan so it was quick.

As usual this box looked amazing!

The Information Card

The Target “Renew” included the following new must have products inspired by 2016 beauty resolutions:

~Caress Love Forever Body Wash (1.8oz / 55mL) ($0.53): This body wash boasts “12 hour fragrance release” which I don’t quite get, but I would love to know the science behind it. The scent is very floral and the body wash itself is red and it totally made me think of Valentine’s Day.

~Attitude 2-in-1 Shampoo ($0.66) & Volume & Shine Shampoo ($0.66): I have never heard of this brand before this box but I am sold!  It’s vegetable based and is formulated to be carcinogen-free, vegan and hypoallergenic. I tested the shampoo and thought it had a nice clean scent and it worked well.  I will be using my coupon from this box (all boxes include a $3 off your beauty / skin care / hair care purchase of $15+) to full the full size shampoo and conditioner.

Attitude 2-in-1 Shampoo and Volume & Shine Shampoo

~Laneige BB Cushion (2g each) ($6.80): I didn’t realize that this would include all different shades, but hello, it’s perfect!  You press the little puff (okay it’s like a sponge) into the tinted cushion and them apply to your face. It’s just about the consistency of BB cream when it’s on the sponge.  Not foundation thick, but not runny either.

~Scunci No Slip Grip Braided Headwrap ($5.99): Love this!  It’s super soft and very stretch.  I wore it for a few hours earlier today to test it out and not only did it NOT give me a headache, it also held my hair in place!  On the flip side of the tag is a $1 off any scunci hair accessory coupon.

~Degree Women Fresh Energy Dry Spray (3.8oz) ($4.99): I could not figure out how to work this spray at first. You really gotta push hard the first time you use it!  Anyway, it smells fantastic and is supposed to last for 48 hours. I doubt I will never test it for that long, but it’s good to know.

Degree Women Fresh Energy Dry Spray

~Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer ($1.40): We actually received a very similar item in the “Refresh” Target Beauty Box.  Both are applied to wet skin, but this one is applied after you get out of the shower and doesn’t have to be rinsed off.  You dry off like normal after you use it, but you don’t need moisturizer after. It’s got a light scent and I found that a little went a long way.

~Revlon Ultimate All-in-One Mascara ($8.99): I have no many open mascaras right now that I just couldn’t bring myself to open this one, try it once and let it go to waste.  From the looks of the pictures online, the actual brush is tiny!  It promises Volume, Length, Definition, Lift and Intense Color.  Hopefully my cousin who I pass this on to reports back on it because I am curious!

Revlon Ultimate All-in-One Mascara

~Hada Labo Tokyo Anti-Aging Facial Mask ($3.75): There are so many brands that I just never realized that Target carried!  This is a lightweight sheet mask that boosts hydration, reduces fine lines and restores firmness to your skin.  I was impressed with the results and did feel like my skin got some help from this.

All totaled I came up with a value of $33.77 for the Target “Renew” Beauty Box. For the price, these boxes just cannot be beat!  I wish they would set up them as a subscription so it wouldn’t be as hard to get them, but I will take what I can get ;).

As I mentioned this box is now sold out, but I will post as soon as Target releases the next Beauty Box and will also send out an e-mail to those on my Newsletter list!
