~Good morning! B’s coming home today! He’s been in Germany (in a city outside Nuremberg) since the beginning of the month, so we are all super excited to see him. Germany is his favorite work travel destination, but a month is a long time for sure!
~I finished up my tufted wool wreath this week. All totaled it cost me about $23 to make. And that includes $6 for a pom-pom maker, which you don’t have to get if you don’t want to. Anthropologie sold their version of this for $128, and they go for about $75 on Etsy, so it was a big savings to make it myself. And I love how it turned out. Making the pom-poms was tedious (tip: use a super sharp pair of scissors), but easy. I used a 14″ wreath and two full skeins of yarn. I originally planned to use an 18″ wreath but got tired of making the pom-poms, so I switched to the smaller one. The yarn makes the wreath larger than the 14″, so I am glad I didn’t go any bigger.
~I still have a handful of subscription boxes coming this week including Five Four Club, The Boodle Box, Birchbox Man, Hammock Pack, Julep, Dollar Bead Box and one or two more. I am thinking we should be getting inspiration for the February POPSUGAR Box soon, and I am *hoping* we hear about a new Target Beauty Box soon too, but we’ll see!
~You guys, I may have shed a tear watching Teen Mom the other night. I thought it was so sweet when Teresa came in to talk to Catelynn before her wedding. Farrah, on the other hand, was all kinds of crazy this week. Oh man. I wish I could fast forward through her scenes. I couldn’t help but laugh when Amber and her man (I don’t even know his name) were talking to the real estate lady about buying that house to flip, and she asked them what they did for a living. “I’m on Teen Mom OG. And he’s my fiancé.” Too funny.
~This is super random, but what kind of animal do you think this is? W won him in the crane game the other day, and we have no clue what it is. He thinks it’s a teddy bear. L thinks it’s a mouse. Other ideas are a cat, a fox, a raccoon or a hedgehog.
That’s it from here! I hope you have a great day!
