Our March 2016 Awesome Pack included the following items:
~Frog Wobble ($9.95): Wow, I am really impressed with this. First of all, it’s wood, not plastic. And the frogs are chunky and perfect for little hands. That kind of levels the playing field between my 7 year-old and my 3 year-old. Well, kind of. It’s pretty self-explanatory – you put the frogs on without letting the log tip over. Whoever makes the log tip over loses. It can even be played alone.
~Power Rangers Megaforce Mega Blocks Black Ranger Air Glider ($4.99): This glider is designed for ages 5 to 7 and is designed to really fly. I am going to save this for a rainy day for the boys and we’ll see how far it flies.
~Crystal Growing ($9.95): I am ridiculously excited about this. We started on it this afternoon and are hoping for some crystal growth tonight. I’d post a picture, but it currently just looks like a cup of red water. I remember doing these as a kid (it’s packets of crystal base compound and color packets) and they were so cool. I have my fingers crossed that this works so that my kids can see how cool it is too.
~iwako Panda Puzzle Eraser (~$1): I love puzzle erasers and I think it’s so fun to put them together. L thinks it’s fun too and has some on his desk that he fiddles with.
~Scooby-Doo! Coloring Book ($2.57): Both of my boys love Scooby Doo! The older the episodes, the better. Sometimes my 3 year-old likes to “work” with me in my office so I will keep this coloring book in there for him.
~Ocean Dominoes ($9.95): Dominoes are fun for all ages! I like picture dominoes better than number ones for little ones (like my 3 year-old). To start with anyway. He’s more apt to want to play them if they are pictures. These are easy to follow and fun.
~Pokemon Placemat ($9.99): This is probably our least favorite item in the box. Mainly because we aren’t into Pokemon. My 7 year-old knows who most of them are, but he’s not a fan.
~Activity Book: All Awesome Pack‘s include an activity book with puzzles, a journal to write about all the fun you have been having and additional activities to do.
All totaled I came up with a value of $48.40 for the March 2016 Awesome Pack. I thought the variety of items was fantastic and I am just so excited about the crystals! I cannot wait for them to start growing.
