The Nerd Block C2E2 Limited Edition Block included the following items:

~POP! Marvel Deadpool #112 ($9.99):  This Deadpool pop! is awesome.  My seven year-old is getting quite a collection of POP! figures in his room and loves displaying them.

~Ant-Man T-Shirt (~$10): I wish this t-shirt was youth sized, but I don’t believe that was an option from this box. B won’t wear this a ton, but he will eventually wear it.  As a side-note, has anyone had a quilt made out of t-shirts?

~Mug: Marvel Heat Change Mug ($13.99): Obviously I love this!  It says “AMAZING” in black letters when are you drinking something cold, but when you have a hot drink, the Spiderman decal is revealed in the letters.  One note – this is NOT dishwasher safe.

~Screen Cleaning Cloth: Attack on Titan (~$5): I am not too familiar with “Attack on Titan” (it’s a Japanese manga series), but my screen can always use some cleaning.

~Blind Bag: DC Mini Fig (~$5): I love blind bags and so do my kids.  You never know what you are going to get and that’s part of the gfun.

~Ghosterbusters Lanyard ($4.99): Options for this was either Ghostbusters or Walking Dead. Once again I am thrilled with the one we received.  My seven year-old is the only one in the house that would use or display a lanyard so this works great.Nerd Block C2E2 Limited Edition Box Review

~Harley Quinn Decal (~$5): This works for your car or really any surface you can think of. It’s not something that I will personally use so I will put it in the trade / gift pile.

~Orlando Bloom Signed Autograph ($50): All boxes also included a signed Orlando Bloom picture with a certificate of authenticity!  Autographed items don’t appear in subsription boxes too often so it’s a special treat when they do.

Nerd Block C2E2 Limited Edition Box Review

I didn’t do a cost breakdown on the Nerd Block C2E2 Limited Edition Block, but I think it was well worth the price-tag. I realized as I was listing the items that I was estimating a lot so I didn’t think it would be fair to do a total.

What do you think of the Nerd Block C2E2 Limited Edition Block?  It is now sold out, but the Nerd Block VINYLPALOOZA 2.0 block is on sale now!

I made a quilt out of tshirts, and it was super easy. The main thing is that when you buy the backing fabric, you want to ask them where to find the really wide fabric so that you can just get one big long piece that’s big enough. Also, buy a rotary cutter, mat, and square plastic piece (sold by the rotary cutters and mats) to use as your guide. I think you’ve mentioned before that your mom is a good seamstress (i.e. LP pillows you made?), so I think you guys could totally do it! If you cut out all of the squares before you got together, she could help you with the harder part of sewing them together and adding the backing. You can add quilt batting inbetween the two layers to make it cozier, but honestly my sister has one that doesn’t have the quilting in it and I like that better than my quilting one. It would be great to take the super hero shirts and make a quilt for L’s bed!! And it’s better to use adult size tshirts–kids shirts are hard to get a good square out of 🙂
