~Good morning! And Happy St. Patrick’s Day. If you are going out drinking today be safe. B’s traveling so it’s just the little boys and I. Nothing overly exciting happening this week. We do have plans to see Zootopia this weekend which we are all super excited about.
~Today also marks the beginning of the NCAA Tournament, which is one of my favorite times of the year! If you are participating in the Challenge (you can read more about it here), make sure to get your bracket filled out ASAP. It has to be completed by the start of the first game (which is at today at 12:15 pm ET) or it doesn’t count (actually ESPN won’t even let you submit it after that). Even if you don’t know anything about basketball, fill out a bracket. You never know what will happen in March!
~A few things I am loving right now: 1) DW Home Kind Wine “Mandarin Champagne” Candle. It looks like they sell them online, but I picked this up at Marshalls for $7.99 and OMG is it fabulous. It’s a soy candle poured in a repurposed wine bottle and is mainly an orange scent with a hint of “aromatic vetiver, glowing amber, and sensual musk”. It’s fantastic. 2) School Pictures! These are L’s Spring school pictures and what they do is send ALL the sheets home and then you decide which ones you want to keep. So if course I end up keeping them all because I hate the thought of sending L’s cute pictures back even though I don’t “need” Thank You cards with his picture on them…. I’m such a sucker. 3) Good Thins – The Potato One – Spinach & Garlic. They are super flavorful, and the serving size is huge. 4. The Lumee Case (ETA: The pictures of W are with and without the case). I was a little skeptical on this one, but listen; it really does make for better pictures – both for people and objects. It’s super bulky and doesn’t really protect your phone if you drop it, but I think it’s worth it.
~And finally, subscription boxes! I am still expecting Luxor Box, POPSUGAR Resort (see the post below for spoilers), ipsy, White Willow Box, BOXYCHARM, BuddhiBox, Nerd Block C2E2 Block, Scentbird, Something Snacks, Kiwi Crate, Doodle Crate, Koala Crate, Smuggler’s Bounty, Phone Case of the Month and a handful of others. LOTS of boxes are on their way!
