Wantable Intimates is a monthly intimates subscription service. You will either receive three premium pieces of lingerie or 3 premium pieces of loungewear based on your profile preferences. They also offer makeup, fitness, style and accessories boxes, again customized to your preferences. And unlike the majority of other subscription boxes, Wantable allows you to return the box if you aren’t totally 100% happy. Now you are even able to return just a portion of your box! Wantable lists “Your Price” on the information card along with the “Retail Price” so you can easily determine the amount of credit you will receive if you opt to return items. If you end up keeping your entire box, a credit of $4 will be posted to your account – making your next box $46.
I want to mention that Wantable has recently increased their price from $40 per box to $50 per box (those who subscribed before 10/24 which I did will keep the $40/month rate as long as they are subscribed). Also, boxes will now include three items as opposed to the previous 3-4 items. Wantable indicated that this is so that they can send you “a look” rather than just pieces.
Wantable ships via USPS and took under a week to arrive.
I mention it every time, but you can totally customize your Wantable box. You fill out a questionnaire telling them what you Love, Like and Dislike. You’ll get more of the things you Love, some of the things you Like and none of the things you Dislike. It also asks about color preferences and that sort of thing. Wantable has also launched the “My Stream” which includes product and customer photos of items from Wantable boxes. You can scroll through the images, and if you see something you love, you can request it in your next box.
My March 2016 Wantable Intimates Collection included the following items:
~Nouveau by Pajama Dream Plush Pants (Retail Price $28, Your Price: $16.47): These pants are everything. At least these are on this snowy night anyway. They are SUPER soft and cozy and basically just fabulous. I am obsessed.
~Rene Rofe Keyhold T-Shirt (Retail Price $28, Your Price: $16.47): I really like this shirt. As more than just a pajama shirt too actually. It looks (and is) plain from the front, but the keyhole at the neckline in the back is awesome. This is made out of a soft, lightweight fabric and really is fabulous.
~Rene Rofe Around the World Bikini (Retail Price $12, Your Price: $7.06): I’m not as excited about these as I am about the other items in the box, but I do like them. They are well-made and seem like they will hold up nicely in the laundry.
All totaled my March 2016 Wantable box had a value of $68. Not a huge value (and even less of a value if you pay $50/month), but I do love my selection. They are finally starting to include “outfits” and that makes me happy.
Do you subscribe to Wantable? If so, what’d you get in your box (makeup or accessories or intimates) this month? Have you tried either of the new Edits (Fitness or Style)? If you are interested in signing up for Wantable, you can head here and check them out!
This box is just getting too expensive. At $40 it’s a stretch but $50 a month is way too much for pajamas. I’ve been subbing for more than a year now so will keep it but will cancel if they raise it above $40.
I hate how they keep upping the price… and the value just isn’t there for me anymore. They’re shooting themselves in the foot – they had a good thing going for a bit.
Again, Ross clearance-rack brands/styles for the price of higher quality goods. I buy my Renee Rofe panties for $1.99 and just got a similar pajama set (now that I think of it…I think it’s RR) for $10.99
I need a Ross! Or I need to start looking better at Marshalls / TJ Maxx! I would love to find some! I am totally looking next time I go.
I thought Ross was an overstock sort of place, not like a retailer that carries particular brands. That’s sort of my take when I go look there. I feel like Ross is great if you have the time and patience to really go shopping and look through what they have. Then there are treasures to be found! Name brands at incredible prices! But I, unfortunately, don’t have either the time or patience for them. I’d be more likely to just walk into Macy’s and grab something off the nearest display.
For that reason, I’m still keeping this sub because they have the value add that I don’t have to go shopping, I get surprised and if I don’t like it I can send it back. But truly, they have maxed out their price point and, as you rightly point out, are priced high for what they deliver. Truly, if they price raise again I’m gone.
