BarkBox April 2016 Subscription Box Review + Coupon Code
BarkBox is a monthly subscription box for dogs. Each monthly box contains a combination of 4-6 treats, toys, and hygiene products that have been hand-selected and approved by Scout (the dog), head product tester for BarkBox. All treats included in the boxes are sourced from the USA and Canada, and chews are sourced from the USA, Canada, South America, Australia and New Zealand, so you can be assured that your pet is only getting safe, high-quality items. Boxes can be customized based on the size of your pet (I get the Small box for the furries) and you can add an extra toy to your box for an extra $9/month. We have been getting BarkBox for ages and have always been satisfied with them.

BarkBox ships via DHL Global Mail (starts out with DHL and is delivered by the Post Office) and took just a few days to arrive this month. I generally expect it to arrive on or around the 20th of the month.

This box looked awesome.

The April 2016 BarkBox theme was “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” and included the following items:

~The Yogi Barka Mitt ($12): This mitt is made out of leather and is suitable for heavy chewers.  It’s a BarkBox exclsuive and has a little squeaker on the inside for extra fun.  BarkBox sends a lot of cute toys, but this is one of the cutest ever from them.

~Beef Jerky Pretzel from Butcher’s Block Pet Treats (~$5): This pretzel is made out of 100% USDA inspected beef and my dogs have been fighting over it since I opened it.  It wouldn’t matter if we had more than one, they’d still fight.

~Barklyn Doggers Real Peanut Butter Treats (4oz) ($6): I think the dogs could smell these as from the outside of the box because they were sniffing it like crazy  And went nuts when I finally opened them. They are grain-free and are soft and chewy which my dogs love.

~Sojos Simply Wild Dog Treats (1oz) ($4.14): These treats are made with all-natural, USDA-certified meat and do not contain any artificial flavors, colors or preservatives.  These were another huge hit with my dogs and they couldn’t get enough!

~The Fire Baller ($10): The fire baller is softer (and smaller) than a tennis ball, but much sturdier.  It’s got a squeaker inside and the flames will come in handy to play tug-of-war with my dogs (they don’t understand fetch).

~BarkBox Baseball Card: The information card this month (which doesn’t contain product information anymore), included a BarkBox baseball card for your dog (and kid).  It took some work, but I got both Buddy (my yorkie) and W (my 4 year-old) to fit in the card when I took a picture.  So cute!

All totaled I came up with a value of $37.14 for the April 2016 BarkBox.  I was pleased with the value and thought the curation was amazing!
