The Better Beard Kit is a curated collection from Birchbox which contains all the essentials for soft and healthy scruff. My husband (aka B) has been all into growing his beard lately so I thought this would be a fun one for him. It’s a separate purchase from the monthly Birchbox Man subscription box and is only available while supplies last.
Birchbox shop orders ship via USPS. Shipping is free with all purchases of $50+.
The Better Beard Kit from Birchbox Man included the following items:
~Beard Buddy Beard Wash Fresh (2oz) ($14): B said he has yet to try this one, but it smells pretty good in my opinion. It’s an organic formula that is designed to clean both skin and scruff.
~The Barba Terra Organic Beard Oil (0.25oz / 15mL) ($6.25): This stuff is awesome. It’s grapefruit and ginger scented (which sounds a bit odd, but I love it) and it makes B’s beard SO soft. He hadn’t been using anything on it before this kit arrived so I could tell the difference instantly. He said a little goes a long way too, meaning this should last a while.
~Brothers Artisan Oil The Tamer (1oz) ($12): Again this is awesome. I think B prefers the oil to this, but the combination of beeswax and cocoa butter does the job just as well. It can actually be used for your hair on your head or your beard, so it’s great for traveling.
~Zeus Beard Pear Wood Boar Bristle Brush ($12): This is described as a “beard mainstay” and I would agree. I mentioned it before, but B hadn’t been using anything on his beard until this kit came along. The instant he brushed it using this I could tell the difference. It was softer and not so unruly. The brush is firm, but B said it didn’t irriate his skin at all.
