In addition, Love With Food donates a meal (some months they actually donate two meals) to a child in need with each box purchased, which you can read more about here. This review is on the April Tasting Box.
Love With Food ships via USPS. Boxes typically ship on the 10th of the month and arrive a week or so after.
The April 2016 Love With Food theme was “Love is Joy” and included the following items:
~Coconut Oil Kettle Cooked Potato Chips by Boulder Canyon: These chips, which are dairy-free, gluten-free, vegan and non-GMO are delicious! I am usually not open to grab for Kettle Chips over, say Ruffles, but these impressed me.
~Fruit Snacks by Go Organically: Totally a snack / lunchbox item for my 7 year-old. They are non-GMO, gluten-free and organic. They are also made with real fruit, which is more than I can say about a lot of the other fruit snacks out there.
~Black Rice Crackers by Laiki: These contain rice, oil and salt. And that’s it. I know the point is to keep the ingredients simple, but I am not a fan of them alone. They need something else. Like cheese or hummus or something.
~Blueberry Acai Flax Oatmeal Fruit Squeeze by Munk Pack: Meh. I can’t get past the texture of the contents of squeeze pouches. If it was in a cup it would be fine, but pouches I can’t get into. My 7 year-old will like this as a morning snack for school though. It’s non-GMO, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free.
~Green Tea Latte Candy by Bali’s Best: I may not like to drink tea, but I do like tea flavored hard candies! These are 100% natural and are made with natural tea extract.
~Chocolate Chip Biscotti by Biscotti Di Suzy: SO good! And dipped in milk or even coffee it’s even better. It was buttery and rich and the chocolate chips made it extra good.
~Gluten-Free Waffle by Honey Stinger: These are good in the morning with coffee or really anytime you need a pick-me-up. They are gluten-free, organic and dairy-free. I personally like them a little warm (put it on the top of your cup of coffee), but that’s just me.
~Banana Bar by Nutryttiva: Banana Bars are gluten-free, vegan, non-GMO and dairy-free. And they contain just two ingredients they are 99.8% Banana and 0.2% Lime Juice. we really liked this bar and I will probably pick up more as snacks for the kids.
This wasn’t my favorite Love With Food box ever (it just didn’t wow me) , but I did have fun sampling all of the snacks.

Your box has some variations from the standard one! I didn’t know that they did that? From what I’ve seen, most box got Korean BBQ steak strips (http://lovewithfood.com/products/1484-korean-barbeque-premium-steak-strips-by-lorissa-s-kitchen) instead of the banana bar and a different brand of fruit snacks! To be honest, as a vegetarian, I would have much preferred your banana bar!
By “standard”, I think I really meant “my box.” It looks like reviews are split on which they received? Mine also had a different booklet picture (with the same theme though). I guess I’m confused!
