Mommy Mailbox subscription boxes are carefully curated to make all mom’s lives better, easier and sweeter. Boxes contain products which typically retail for between $55-$75, and each box contains 4-6 surprise gifts that change each month.
Mommy Mailbox ships via USPS during the first week of the month (or the last few days of the previous month).
The April 2016 Mommy Mailbox was curated by Hailey Andresen of Household Mag. The box contained the following items:
~StemGem Strawberry Huller ($7.95): I can’t say that I have ever felt like I needed a strawberry huller, but perhaps I just didn’t know it? It certainly isn’t a kitchen tool I already have and I am guessing that the kids will think it’s cool.
~Salty Road Salt Water Taffy ($7): Salty Road taffy seems to be a subscription box favorite and I don’t mind getting more. It’s made from natural flavorings and everyone in the house enjoys it. It’s very flavorful and I love the sea salt they use.
~Au Revoir Tea Towels from Paper Raven Co.: These are, by far, my favorite item in the box. I can’t find a price for them online, but they are just gorgeous! The colors / pattern are perfect for Spring and I am super happy with them. I already have them hanging on my stove.
~Organic Lip Gloss from Evelyn Iona Cosmetics (Susan) ($19.50): This gloss isn’t sticky at all and gives your lips a bit of plump (it contains Bark Extract which tightens and plumps lips) as well. I think it’s fabulous and am super happy with this almost sheer pink / peach shade.
~La Happy Recipe Card Set: These recipe cards were designed just for Mommy Mailbox subscribers by Seattle-based designer Sally Balt of La Happy. I only have one recipe that anyone would actually want (and it’s my Aunt Karen’s chocolate chip cookie one), but these would be a gorgeous way to share it.
I couldn’t find prices for everything online, but I was pretty happy with this month’s Mommy Mailbox. I liked it much more in person than I did when I peeked at the spoilers online that’s for sure. I mention this every month, but don’t be scared away by the “Mommy” in the name. It’s a great overall lifestyle box!
