Ugg. Not happy with this! But hopefully it will get better!
Not great. I cancelled my regular PopSugar and then subscribed to this, it will make it much easier to fully break-up now. Last year I was getting so many boxes.. cancelled Glossybox and Allure and have yet to see a spoiler this year that has made me regret it. PopSugar has good things but I find it is easy to pick them up off ebay on the cheap or swap for them. I still have 2 Birchboxes, 2 Ipsys and FabFitFun that I get and that will have to be enough (although I’m about ready to cancel 1 Ipsy at least).
It seems like I’m in the minority, but I’m pretty satisfied. I’d like a greater value, but I have been eyeing this lip balm at the Sephora check out for months. It’s good stuff!
Lip balm and a candle? Meh. I know some people will really like these items, but they’re just okay to me. I was hoping for something a bit more special, I guess.
Wow, for some $17 lip balm I hope it’s amazing.
Particularly for a debut box, this feels disappointing. Candles and lip balms are regularly in their other boxes. I’m surprised they didn’t go for slightly less common things: maybe a vase or flower pot, a cute umbrella, something spring like. For $20 in April, I’m not exactly disappointed but I certainly expected more.
Very disappointed – the brainstorming session must have been “mini” with this box. I will most likely cancel next month ….
Really? 2 items? The candle is probably real nice. I just hate melon fragrance. I forget PopSugar is lifestyle. It is probably not a bad deal for the price, but the regular subscription is so much better.
After thinking about it, if this is all the mini boxes are going to be, for around the same price I could get Boxycharm and get a handful of items with a value of ~$100. It doesn’t seem to add up.
I actually love it! They are both things I could have a million of and be happy. I was scared to look because everyone seemed upset.

I have to agree with everyone else, think I might be canceling popsugar, there are so many great boxes out there, and when you don’t keep up with the boxes.. maybe the costumers should vote NO with their dollars.. I really can’t believe that popsugar would putout a first box like this.. instead of something with a “BANG”! Everyone makes mistake sin advertising and marketing, but when there are this many subscription boxes coming into the competition on a daily basis they sort of need to either stay with the competition or step it up.
Not sure this is a box I will be keeping when there are boxes like Little lace box which always seems to knock it out of the park- and no i am not in any way affiliated with them.

For the price, I didn’t expect a lot. This is ok. It may make for a good gift if I don’t care for candle!
