My April 2016 POPSUGAR Must Have Box has (finally) arrived!  This month’s box was was delayed (no real reason for the delay was given by POPSUGAR other than “warehouse issues”) for some subscribers, including myself.

If you aren’t familiar, POPSUGAR Must Have Box is an exciting box full of fun, must-have picks across fashion, beauty, home decor, fitness, and more, which is delivered to your door on a monthly basis. Boxes include full-size products and premium items including tried-and-true classics, celebrity favorites, and brands consumers have yet to discover worth over $100!

POPSUGAR Must Have Box
ships via FedEx Smart Post and takes about a week to arrive. They seem to ship in batches (no idea if there is any rhyme or reason to the order they use) so some people get their boxes delivered before other people have gotten shipping notices. I never did get a shipping notice on my box this month, but I was able to track it in the FedEx Delivery Manager program.

POPSUGAR revamped their logo / boxes for April and they are much larger than they had been in the past.

The April 2016 POPSUGAR Must Have Box was inspired by “Floral, Natural, Fresh & Renewal” and included the following:

~Cravings: Recipes For All the Food You Want to Eat by Chrissy Teigen ($14.99): I generally don’t purchase cookbooks, but I also don’t mind getting them in subscription boxes.  These recipes actually look like food we’d eat around here and they don’t look like they are overly complicated.  Nor do they seem like they will leave you wandering around the aisles of the grocery store looking for some obscure ingredients.  I like Chrissy Teigen too so flipping through this is fun!

~Field Poppy Conservatories Hand Creme ($24): I am so excited to get another Royal Apothic item in a subscription box!  It has notes of Juicy Fig and Sweetened Tea, layered over Jasmine, Lily of the Valley, Moss and Leaf with a base of Soft Musk and Oakwood. It’s rich, but not greasy and I love the gorgeous packaging.  I thought it was odd that the cap didn’t have a pointy thing on the top to puncture the seal, but I used the squeezer tool (meant to help you get every last drop of this out) and it worked perfect.

~Noon Design Shop Lemons Flour Sack Tea Towel ($18): I love the lemons on this and think it will look great hanging on my stove. I never mind getting tea towels in subscription boxes.  They don’t last forever and  they aren’t something I love going out and buying on my own. The towel is pre-washed, silk-screened in Rhode Island and made out of unbleached cotton.

~Farmacy Sleep Tight Firming Night Balm ($48): This balm “aids firmness and tone while helping to restore elasticity and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles”. It’s too be applied nightly and while it’s too early to see any results, I felt the difference after just one use.  My skin was noticeably softer!  Farmacy products are cruelty-free and made from farm-grown, hand-picked botanicals as well.

~Canvas Home Tinware Salt & Pepper Shakers ($12): These are very cute and I love their Farmhouse Chic / Fixer Upper style.  The glazed stoneware shakers are handmade and dishwasher safe. We are guilty of using the salt / pepper mill combo we have for cooking in place of salt and pepper shakers, but I will start to use these immediately.

~Next by Nature Dark Chocolate Espresso Beans ($4): So good!  I like chocolate and I like coffee / espresso so I knew these would be a hit.  They were very flavorful and gave me a nice boost of energy.

~Bloom That $20 Gift Code: I love the idea of a gift code for flowers, but you have to spend money to use this (the least expensive arrangement I saw on the site was $48), so I am not including it in the overall value of this box.  I may use the code if I need to send flowers soon, but I am not overly excited about this.

All totaled the April 2016 POPSUGAR Must Have Box had a value of $120.99.  I wasn’t too thrilled about the delay (and lack of communication) with this box, but I was happy with the contents and am looking forward to a smoother May.

What do you think of the April 2016 POPSUGAR Must Have Box?  If you are interested in ordering (your subscription will begin with the May box) you can use coupon code “MUSTHAVE5” to save $5 off your first box.
