The first thing I noticed in this one was the shoe bag!
I didn’t realize I had my blog linked in my profile on Stitch Fix, but clearly I do because she read my post from last month. That is actually great though because I am not the best at completing my reviews on the Stitch Fix site.
~Loveappella Paulo 3/4 Sleeve Lace Detail Knit Top ($58): I keep going back and forth on this one. I like the detail on the back, but not on the bottom of the shirt. It’s longer which I like, but ultimately I can’t see myself reaching for it in the closet enough for me to keep it. Verdict: Returned.
~Gentle Souls Portobello Loafer Flats ($150): I had been so excited to get shoes in a Fix, but I am not a fan of these. Well, wait, I like them (and they are comfortable), but don’t have much use for them and they are too expensive for me. They seem to be quite well-made, but for red shoes that I would likely only wear here and there, I just can’t justify the price tag. Verdict: Returned.
~Market & Sprice Bernadette Lace Overlay Raglan Top ($58): Totally cute on someone else, but I can’t see myself in this at all. The lace mixed with the t-shirt sleeves just doesn’t look right on me. Maybe if it was in a different color? I am not sure. The cut is great though and I like the 3/4 length sleeves. Verdict: Returned.
~Dear John Kyleigh Straight Leg Jean ($78): I should really change my fix to note that I don’t need any more demin. With summer coming (well, I hope it gets here anyway) they aren’t a shopping priority. All that said though I had a hard time putting these in the return bag. They are soft and color / fade is just about perfect. Verdict: Returned.
~Kensie Mally Ponte Jacket ($88): Super cute! I’ll probably wear it more as a cardigan than an actual jacket, but I think that’s the point. It’s a little more than I would typically spend on something like this, but with the $20 styling fee discount (which I would otherwise lose), it’s a bit more reasonable. Verdict: Kept.
I was quite pleased with this month’s Stitch Fix. The items were good selections for me and really I wasn’t too far from keeping most of them.
