Bonjour Jolie is a premium monthly subscription box designed exclusively for women to be pampered on their period. Each box contains up to 25 Feminine Items (you can select a full sealed box or mix and match a combo of feminine products), a hand-curated gift, specialty bath and body pampering items, artisan confections and teas and drinks. Boxes are $16/month plus shipping.

Bonjour Jolie ships via USPS.  They timimg of shipments are based on preferences indicated in your profile. If you purchase before the 25th of the month your box will ship that month. If you purchase after the 25th of the month your box will ship the following month.

The April 2016 Bonjour Jolie theme was “The Earth” (the information card itself was made in Nepal with post-consumer recycled materials and is embedded with wildflower and herb seeds so it can be planted) and included the following:

~The Gift: Bead for Life Bracelet ($10): Bead for Life provides business training and support so that the women in Uganda who live in extreme poverty can make these bracelets out of paper and become entrepreneurs. I love these handmade paper bracelets so this is a great gift for me.

~The Pampering: Rare Earth Minerals Clay Body Mask ($10): This mask is gluten-free, nut-free, paraben-free and soy free. It’s made out of all-natural clay and sounds like it’s going to make a great spa-like treatment.

~The Edibles: This month’s edibles included Annie’s White Cheddar Popcorn, Banana Crisps, a Chocolate Chip Granola Bar, SurfSweets, Endangered Species Chocolates, Yummy Earth Organic Lollipops and Bug Bites chocolates.

~The Essentials: All boxes also include pain relievers, tea and usually contain feminine wipes.

~The Supplies: Bonjour Jolie allows you to choose up to 25 pads, tampons and / or liners of your choice.  You can mix and match brands or stick with a full sealed box.  It’s totally up to you to select what’s best for you and your needs.

I didn’t do a full cost breakdown on this box (I never do on Time of the Month boxes), but the value is always well over the cost.
