Julep is a monthly nail polish (and beauty) subscription service. They offer a “My Maven” box for $24.99/month which contains $40+ worth of product and polish each month. You are able to fully customize your box so you are guaranteed to receive only products you think you’ll love!
Julep ships via FedEx Smart Post out of Ohio and tends to take just a few days to arrive to me. You make your selections for the box between the 20th and 25th of the month and you can expect to receive your box in the first few days of the next month.
As usual I ordered some add-ons (3 to be exact) so my box looks fuller than it would have otherwise. If you order 3 or more add-ons you get a free gift from Julep, so I always do that.
The May 2016 Julep theme was “Rainbow Bright”. I opened for the following items in my May box:
~Julep Regina Nail Color (Bombshell) ($11.20 / $14): Regina is a “nebula pink iridescent chrome”. I love this one so much. It reminds me of the movie Frozen for some reason. It’s shimmery without being too over the top glittery.
~Julep Nail Color – Summer (It Girl) ($11.20 / $14): Summer is a cantaloupe sheer iridescent. I actually don’t like this one as much in person as I did online. Don’t get me wrong, I like it, but I thought it would be a little brighter? Still it is a fun color for summer and it’s nothing like I currently own which is good.
~Your Lip Addiction – Obsessed ($17.60 / $22): Obsessed is a Tinted Lip Oil Treatment. And I am obsessed with these. I am so happy I got all three colors. They are amazing. Like the most fantastic moisturizing gloss with a sheer hint of color. These are a new favorite for me. They smell SO good, aren’t sticky at all and are just all around awesome. TRY THESE!!
~Add-Ons: For my add-ons this month I selected Your Lip Addiction – Crave , Your Lip Addiction – Covet and Lainey Wonder – Maven. For my free gift I got Becky (It Girl) (I don’t know if she has good hair or not ;).
~Julep Polish Swatches
All totaled (using Maven pricing and not including my add-ons), my May 2016 Julep had a value of $40. I love that you get to select your own items with Julep so I am always happy with the boxes I receive.
