POPSUGAR Must Have Box May 2016 Subscription Box Review + Coupon Code

My May 2016 POPSUGAR Must Have Box has arrived!

If you aren’t familiar, POPSUGAR Must Have Box is an exciting box full of fun, must-have picks across fashion, beauty, home decor, fitness, and more, which is delivered to your door on a monthly basis. Boxes include full-size products and premium items including tried-and-true classics, celebrity favorites, and brands consumers have yet to discover worth over $100!

POPSUGAR Must Have Box ships via FedEx Smart Post and takes about a week to arrive. They seem to ship in batches (no idea if there is any rhyme or reason to the order they use) so some people get their boxes delivered before other people have gotten shipping notices.

I can’t say that I have ever been spoiler free for POPSUGAR and I probably will never be.  It doesn’t make me enjoy unboxing them any less though!

The May 2016 POPSUGAR Must Have Box, which was inspired by “Fitness, Relaxation, Health, Hydration, Yoga & Deep Breaths” contained the following:

~Bluma Project Capri Bracelets (Set of 2) ($44): These are hand-crafted by Guatemalan artists.  I know a lot of people aren’t fans of the pom-poms, but I totally am!  These are stretchy, but I’d call them “tight stretchy”.  They’ll fit pretty much any size wrist, but it might be tight.

~Kocostar Foot Therapy ($10): You put these on for 90 minutes and they are supposed to take away hard calluses and tough skin. Sadly I haven’t had 90 solid minutes to use them, but I am interested to see how they compare to Baby Foot (which I love).  I will report back this weekend!

~Spongelle Spongology Body Buffer ($20): This is designed to exfoliate, massage and help stimulate circulation. It’s milk & honey “scented” and infused with a skin softening sulfate free formula & organic extract.  It’s good for 20+ washes and is already in my shower.  I love it!

~Gaiam Foldable Yoga Mat ($24.95): I am not so sure about this.  I love the idea, but I don’t know that I love this.  The mat surface is great – it’s sticky but not too sticky. I’m not a huge fan of the length though. It’s super long, but not very wide.  I am guessing it’s designed to be narrow and that’s what makes it compact, but I am not digging it.

~Happy Spritz Breathe Deeply Spray ($25): Breathe Deeply is a crisp, minty + refreshing mix of pure peppermint + eucalyptus + 100% pure essential oils. The smell isn’t my favorite, but I did find it to be very refreshing.  This is a new type of item for POPSUGAR and I love the change of pace.

~JimmyBar! Peanut Butter Clutter Bar ($2.49): JummyBars are Gluten-free, dairy-free and all-natural.  The peanut butter clutter is my favorite from them so far.  I had it this afternoon and it gave me a needed boost. It’s a true peanut butter flavor and super filling.

~Special ExtraHint Caffeine Kick Water (Black Raspberry Infused Water) ($1.69): I am SO glad I didn’t get one of the spicy ones.  Black Raspberry is perfect!  B loves this water and wants more ASAP!

~Special Extra: Half Hitch Goods $10 Gift Card: Half Hitch Goods is a collection of gifts grounded in stories and meaning. I am not sure if I will use this, but if the Half Hitch Favorites comes back in stock I just might!

~Special ExtraRevlon Volume Length Magnified Mascara ($9): This mascara gives you great volume and amazing length.  For a drugstore mascara I was impressed.  I love when POPSUGAR does Special Extras like this

All totaled I came up with a value of $137.13 for the May 2016 POPSUGAR Must Have Box.  I felt like this box had more of a cohesive theme than many of their previous boxes.  Everything seemed to fit together well. That’s good if you like the yoga-theme, but probably not so great if you don’t.  I’m still undecided on the yoga mat, but everything else was a win in here.
