Something Snacks is a monthly snack subscription box. Each month you receive seven different awesome snacks including some familiar snacks and some with a bit of adventure.
Something Snacks ships via USPS. Boxes are shipped between the 7th and 11th of each month and it should take about 7-10 days to arrive to your home or office.
The May 2016 Something Snacks theme was “Chocolate & Fruit” and included the following items:
~Lulu Platanitos Plantain Chips w/ Lemon: I am not 100% sure what these tasted like, but it wasn’t bananas or lemon for that matter. They were tart and super salty.
~De La Rosa Peanut Candy Mazapan Style Covered with Chocolate: I like chocolate covered mazapan better than just plain mazapan, but I can’t say I would ever seek out either one.
~KitKat Raspberry from Japan: I don’t know why the US doesn’t have all these fun KitKat flavors? Raspberry is better (to me) than Green Tea, but not as good as the original.
~Knott’s Berry Farm Apricot Shortbread: I love the shortbread, but I don’t know about the filling. I suspect some people would love it, but unless it’s chocolate or vanilla or peanut butter, I don’t want filling in a cookie.
~Grandma’s Chocolate Chip Cookies: Totally my kind of cookie! I don’t know that I have ever eaten one of these if I wasn’t on a road trip, so I think I will save this one until we go up-north next weekend!
~Lady Walton’s White Chocolate Amaretto: This was a neat change of place from other wafer cookies I have sampled. I don’t know if they were better, but they were different.
~180 Snacks Nutty Rice Bites w/ Blueberries: These are delicious! They are similiar to the texture of a granola bar (maybe a little more airy), but are bite-sized pieces.

I love Grandma’s cookies! I used to get them on family vacations, anytime we stopped at a gas station, that was my snack pick lol. I also love those Nutty Rice Bites, they’re amazing!! CVS makes a knock off brand, that tastes very similar.
