~Good morning! Tomorrow is L’s 8th birthday and I can’t even believe it. I need to do some little goodie bags for his class and grab some balloons, but we are mainly set and ready to celebrate. Eeek! I am planning on finishing up the baskets (thank you all for your ideas!) for the spring carnival at his school in the next few days too. And then, in a few weeks, the boys will be out of school for the summer. This year has flown!
~I have a bunch of subscription boxes on their way this week including Birchbox, ipsy, Love With Food, Bocandy and GlobeIn. A handful of others (like POPSUGAR) have shipped, but I doubt they will arrive in the next few days.
~B and I rented Deadpool last night and much to my surprise I thought it was fantastic. It wasn’t just Ryan Reynolds either, but he certainly did help. It was just a good movie. Totally not for kids though. At all.
~What do you think of the new Instagram logo? I loved the old logo (and never thought it was outdated), but I am sure I will eventually forget about it and love the new one. I remember not being too sure of the new Birchbox logo all those years ago when they switched it, but I couldn’t even tell you what the old one looked like now.
That’s it from here. Have a great weekend!
I like the old Instagram logo but it doesn’t really matter much to me, either way. I will say though, the new one reminds me of the logo on an itunes gift card.
You know what, you are right! It totally does!
I really liked the old logo. I think it had more character. The new one seems very generic. I do like the nice rainbow colors when I get a notification now, though. 🙂
My allure thrills shipped FINALLY ! This is my first one
I have no trouble with Instagram changing logos I’m just not sure about this one. The original is iconic though.
Loved Deadpool. Hated the parents who brought in 6 kids under the age of say, 6, who talked and repeated lines of the movie. Just so not a kids movie!!!!
Holy Crap, L’s 8??? I’ve been following you a while then cuz that snuck up on me too lol.
Hey Jennifer, I know how much you love the to go spa eyes, ipsy has them up as a 250 point reward. I just snagged a pair and thought I would let you know :).
