GLOSSYBOX June 2016 Subscription Box ReviewGLOSSYBOX kindly sent me their June 2016 box to review early, and I am so excited to share it! GLOSSYBOX is a monthly beauty subscription box and includes five luxury surprise beauty items shipped to your door.   I have been a subscriber for years (in addition to getting review boxes I also pay for a subscription) and am always in awe of the value they pack into their boxes.

GLOSSYBOX ships via USPS and generally boxes ship in the second half of the month. Sometimes it’s the last week of the month; sometimes it’s closer to the beginning of the month.

The June GLOSSYBOX was a collaboration with Broadway’s Tony Awards (which were on last night!). In honor of the partnership, GLOSSYBOX created this gorgeous special edition box!

I knew this box would have variations so I was anxious to see what my box included.

GLOSSYBOX June 2016 Subscription Box Review
My June 2016 GLOSSYBOX included the following items:

~icona MILANO Emotion Allowed Mascara (Full-Size) ($19): Nice mascara.  Nothing ground breaking, but it did the trick without clumping.  What was ground breaking was the tip GB included on the information card.  Appartently if you add 3-4 drops of saline eye drops to your tube it will extended the life of your mascara!  Who knew??  Also, it doesn’t look like it’s supposed to be on the information card, but my wand was really bent?  I bent it back without any problems, but now I am wondering if it’s something I did when I was taking it out of the package or if everyone’s arrived like this?

~SinfulColors Kylie Jenner Trend Matters Satin Collection (Acid Wash Demin & Bling) (Full-Size) ($3): I wasn’t overly excited by this color at first, but you know what, I can deal with a glittery pale blue after all.  I don’t have anything like it (that I know of) so it’s a good addition.

~LA Splash Lip Lacquer High Pigment Collection (Red Carpet) (Full-Size) ($18): I thought LA Splash glosses were just a few dollars, but clearly I was mistaken! This collection was made just for GLOSSYBOX and is super pigmented.  The card says to expect a “cream to matte finish” and I would say mine was more cream than matte. It’s not super glossy, but it’s also not dull looking.

~Tantowel Half Body Classic ($5.40): TanTowels are an all-in-one tanning towel.  They exfoliate, tan and moisturize. I have always loved them and think they work amazing!  As with any self tanner you do want to make sure you wash your hands after.

~Sebastian Professional Whipped Cream ($3.38) + Sebastain Dark Oil (2mL Sample) (~$3): Sebastian  Whipped Creme is a mousse like product designed to nourish your locks and give your waves a little pep.  I don’t have curly or wavy hair, so I will be passing this on to a friend.  The dark oil was an added surprise in here! It helps to smooth your hair and add volume.  I LOVE this!

~Caolion Premium Hot & Cool Pore Pack Duo ($6.86): I saw this as one of the spoilers and SO hoped it would be in my box.  And it was!  This “detoxifying duo” features a bubble mask than cleanses pores (and warms your skin while doing it) and then a cooling mask to tighten and refine. I basically love this.  I like the warming mask well enough, but I it was basically like other warming masks.  But the cooling mask was fantastic. It left my skin feeling incredible.  Super hydrating and just glowing!

All totaled my June 2016 GLOSSYBOX had a value of $58.64. That was nearly 3x the cost of the box (which actually isn’t even that high of a value for GLOSSYBOX) and it had such an amazing variety of items! It should be noted that there are some variations this month (you can check out all the items you may receive here), so don’t be surprised if your box isn’t exactly like this one.

My mascara wand is definitely straight 🙂 I loved the LASplash lipgloss! but I received 2 products for pimples lol and I have dry skin so will pass them along (Lue spot control and O2 sparkling Blackhead soap)I also received the Tan Towels, Sebastian Dark Oil, and Sebastion finishing spray.I always enjoy your reviews!!?

My mascara was straight as well ! Looking forward to trying it all but what’s up with the dark reds lately ? My June ipsy also had a full size, very great formula lip Crayon in a unflattering boring dark Red ! This red isn’t boring ! It’s beautiful and rich, highly pigmented red but not for summer! maybe for winter black tie or Xmas party or True Blood tryouts ? Lol ! Smokin hot for Selma Hyek’s coloring ! My profile states blonde blue fair/ have light tan in summer. Do they read our profiles ? I wonder

Are the box variation based on our age in our profile? I tecieved a hair spray and this reviewer received the mousse. ?
Which brings me to my next question. Are the beauty profile used at all for our selections, or is it strictly for marketing?
As always thank you for curating these special boxes. They make my month. 🙂
