ipsy June 2016 Subscription Box Review
ipsy sends its members a beautiful Glam Bag with 4-6 deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products based on your ipsy profile. Their bags always have an incredible value (well over the $10 cost), and I am always amazed at how they do it. I don’t always love everything in the bags, but I always always think it was worth my $10.  They also offer a rewards system for subscribers.  You can earn points by reviewing the items you get in your bags, sharing your ipsy bag on social media, etc. You can then redeem your points for products (often items which were featured in previous months) on the ipsy website.

ipsy ships around the 10th of the month via DHL Global Mail. I generally expect to receive my package a week after they ship.

The June 2016 ipsy theme was “Rebel Rebel” and included the following items:

~The Bag: This bag is so fun!  The graffiti print is totally unlike anything ipsy has done and I am loving it!

~Delectable by Cake Beauty Everything Balm (7mL) (~$5): Everything balm does, yep, EVERYTHING!  It can be used to smooth hair, on cuticles, on your lips, to moisturize skim, you name it.  I think Delectable products are generaly yummy scented, but this didn’t smell like much of anything. It tasted good though.

~Hey Honey 24Seven Honey Day & Night Moisturizing Cream ($11.40):This is a revitalizing / anti-aging cream. It’s recommended target spots are your neck, face and eye contour area.  I’m not huge into the smell (it kind of reminds me of like Olay), but if it works I can get past that.

~Seraphine Botanicals – Happy Hibiscus (Full-Size) ($18): This is a long-wearing blush in a very wearable neutral shade. I love it!  Even better than that though is that Seraphine Botanicals products are 99% natural, vegan, gmo-free, cruelty-free, gluten-free and not tested on animals.

~Urban Decay Fireball Eyeshadow (0.03oz) ($11.40): I now know why this is a cult favorite.  This shade is amazing.  It changes color everytime I look at it.  It’s simply stunning. I don’t know what else to say other than to get this.

~Kajal Vasanti Waterline (Intense Black) ($18): I mention it all the time, but I am just not big into eyeliner so I will end up passing this on to a friend.  I tested it on my hand and it seemed to go on smoothly and evenly.

~Swatches:

All totaled I came up with a value of approximately $63.80 for the June 2016 ipsy bag. An amazing value and just a fantastic bag for me this month!
