Target June 2016 Men's Beauty Box Review - "looking GOOD"!

My June 2016 Target “looking GOOD” Men’s Beauty Box has arrived! This Target Beauty Box was $5 (they vary in price from $5-$10) and was available through Target’s website for a limited time only. It was released on May 30th (around 4am EST) and sold out in hours (as did the Women’s Box which was also available).  Boxes are generally released on Monday’s of the first week of the month. Target Beauty Box boxes are NOT subscription boxes and must be purchased individually as they are released.

Target Beauty Box ships via USPS and arrived in under a week.

The June 2016 Target “looking GOOD” Men’s Beauty Box contained the following:

~Nautica Ginger Eau De Toilette ~($0.50): This is described as a “romantic blend of uplifting freshness, mysterious aromatics and seductive woods”. I am not sure what I would describe it as, but I like it.  It’s not too strong and would work well as an everyday scent.

~göt2b Glued Styling Spiking Glue (1.25oz) ($0.87): Once my little boy’s hair gets long enough to style I will be using this on them. It’s supposed to give great your hair great hold, which is exactly what my active little boys need!

~Marlowe No.142 Men’s Shave Gel (1fl.oz) ($1.33): This shave gel is made with their Marlowe. M Blend™, which contains Passionflower Fruit Extract, Green Tea Extract, Willow Bark Extract and Deep Sea Algae Extract.  It’s designed to nourish, smooth, and revitalize skin.  My husband hasn’t used it yet, but will soon enough because he has National Guard this weekend and will have to shave.

~AXE White Label Night Body Wash (1.69fl.oz) ($0.42): Night features a “cool rush of grapefruit, lavender, cedarwood, and praline notes”. It smells fantastic and even though their commericals aren’t the best, I have always loved the smell of Axe!

~Old Spice Hardest Working Collection Sweat Defense Pure Sport Plus Antiperspirant (0.5oz) ($1.06): This doesn’t smell like the Old Spice (not the old spice I think of anyway) so B will give it a try.

~Dove Men+Care Fresh and Clean 2 in 1 Shampoo (1.8fl.oz) ($0.32): B (my husband) uses this anyway so this will be a great for traveling. It’s a 2-in-1 shampoo which aren’t always the best, but this does the job.

~Schick Hydro 5 Men’s Razor ($8.69): The razor alone makes this box worth it! Razors are expensive!

~CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser Bar (~$1): This is a facial cleansing bar for dry to normal skin. It’s designed to help with fight wrinkles and fine lines and also works to combat oiliness and dryness.

~NIVEA Men Crème (1oz) ($0.76): This cream is meant for your face, hands and body.  I think it’s great for rough spots like knees, elbows and heels and am guessing that’s what B will use it for as well.

~Balla for Men – Original Powder (10.3g) ($1.80): Subscribers received either the Balla for Men Powder or Remington Beard Boss Beard Oil.  I was hoping we’d receive the Balla Powder because it’s something B uses and loves.  This is a great size for traveling!

All totaled I came up with a value of approximately $16.75 for the June 2016 Men’s “looking GOOD” Target Beauty Box.  That is a great value for a $5 box and I would love to see them do both a Men’s and a Women’s box each month!  I also want to mention that the box includes a $3 off $15 coupon for your next Target or Target.com beauty purchase (expires 7.9.16).

As I mentioned this box is now sold out, but I will post as soon as Target releases the next Beauty Box and will also send out an e-mail to those on my Newsletter list.
