My boys (they are 4 and 8) were SO excited to dig into this crate.  I took all of the box pictures first and then packaged everything back up and let them dig into it on their own.

The June 2016 Mine Chest theme was “The Nether” and included the following items:

~I Love Nether T-Shirt: My eight-year-old liked this shirt way better than the first Mine Chest shirt he received.  Don’t get me wrong, he liked that one too (he likes all things Minecraft), but this one was even cooler.  He put it on as soon as he opened the box and wore it the rest of the day.

~Hot Wheels Minecraft: I have absolutely no idea what stores sell these (or we’d probably already have one), so we were thrilled to get this.  L (my oldest) happily let his Hot Wheels addicted little brother have this, and he’s obsessed already.

~Minecraft Mystery Mini-Figure x2 ($4.99/each): These Mini-Figures are “End Stone Series 6”.  They are the newest of the Minecraft mini-figures, and I haven’t even found them in stores yet.  Since the box contained two mystery boxes, there was no complaining or fighting between the boys and they both had their own to open. L received the “Potion Drinking Witch” while L got the “Laser-Firing Guardian”.

~Minecraft Stamp & Ink Pad: This is a Mine Chest exclusive! It’s a Ghast Stamp and ink pad.  L has already been using it to make little Minecraft books and W (my four-year-old) just likes to stamp it on his arm.  Either way works!

~DIY Crafting Recipe and Minecraft (Exclusive) Sticker: This month’s crafting recipe includes instructions on how to turn your Mine Chest box into a Ghast.  We think the boxes are so cool as is, so we probably don’t be turning it into a Ghast.  L, however, did use the sticker in one of his Minecraft instruction books (he likes to make them for his Papa, who needs all the Minecraft help he can get).

Mine Chest June 2016 Subscription Box ReviewMany of these items were Mine Chest exclusives so I couldn’t do a price breakdown.  We loved this box though and thought it was worth every penny!
