Mommy Mailbox subscription boxes are carefully curated to make all mom’s lives better, easier and sweeter. Boxes contain products which typically retail for between $55-$75, and each box contains 4-6 surprise gifts that change each month.
Mommy Mailbox ships via USPS during the first week of the month (or the last few days of the previous month).
I couldn’t tell much at all from this first look!
The July 2016 Mommy Mailbox was curated by Emmy Jones (the shop owner behind home goods boutique @maewoven). The box contained the following items:
~Turkish Towel by Maewoven: This can be used as a beach towel, a picnic blanket or even as a wrap on a chilly night. We seem to get a lot of turkish towels in subscription boxes, but they are super useful and always appreciated.
~Highlighter Pencil ($18) and Eyebrow Defining Gel by Chella ($18): The Chella Highlighter Pencil is one of my favorite beauty products. It can be used to “brighten and visibly lift your eyes when lightly applied on the brow bone, dark circles, blemishes and red spots.” It pretty much does everything. I have one and love it (I am leaving this one sealed so I don’t have two open at once). The eyebrow defining gel is used to lift and hold the eyebrow hairs and groom them into place. You can also use it on top of eyebrow color to lock it in place.
~Ocean Cleanser by Osea Malibu ($7.33): The OSEA Ocean Cleanser “is rich in minerals, algae, dermal proteins, vitamins, and mineral salts with a delightful natural fragrance”. I have received the Atmosphere Protection Cream in a few boxes lately and I think this will be a nice compliment.
~Protein Bar by SimplyProtein: I don’t love this flavor combo (it’s a blend of zesty lemon and sweet coconut), but I do love the idea of the bar. It has 1g of sugar and 15 grams of protein. I will have to keep an eye out for some of the other flavors.
I enjoyed the contents of this month’s Mommy Mailbox, but it did seem a little, I don’t know, predictable maybe? Still I will use everything in here, so it’s a win for me.

I agree. Not a very exciting box. Didn’t they give a Turkish towel last July too?
I will say that I really love how they always ship on the first day of the month! And they have fast shipping too!??
