Eeek!  So fun!  I always mention it, but POPSUGAR is absolutely my favorite box. I don’t love the mini quite as much as I love the full-size, but that’s only because it doesn’t have as much stuff ;).

The July 2016 POPSUGAR Must Have Mini included the following items:

~Let It Block 30 SPF Sunscreen ($14.99): This sunscreen, which is 100% vegan, paraben-free and cruelty-free, protects against both UVA and UVB rays and provides water-resistant protection for up to 80 minutes.  I didn’t realize that it was vegan when I saw the spoiler, so I was really excited.  This will be amazing for the kids, and we always need sunscreen around here.

~SunnyLife Pineapple Ice Tray ($17): I was so excited when I saw the spoiler for these, but I wasn’t as excited when I saw them in person.  Don’t get me wrong, I still love them (I mean pineapples!), but they aren’t as deep as I was expecting.  They are made out of a flexible silicone but aren’t floppy if that makes sense.  Still, you do need to be careful when carrying them to the freezer.

I decided to use mine for plain old ice and then I did one with a “watermelon essence.”

Watermelon cubes in water are basically amazing.

The ice melts before you can tell what it is in the glass (at least it did in mine), but I knew it was pineapples.  These molds would also be amazing for jello (or jello shots) and (if you never want to use them for food / water again) you could make crayons with them.  How cute would pineapple crayons be??

All totaled I came up with a value of $31.99 for the July 2016 POPSUGAR Must Have Mini.  I really enjoyed the variety of products in this box and am hoping we see more home products from POPSUGAR Mini boxes in coming months.

Hey, just curious about the molds, why would you never use it again for food after crayons? Since all crayons are non-toxic anymore. Is it just preference, or does something weird happen that I’m not aware of? Thanks!

I can’t ever get all the crayon residue out of the molds. I’m sure there’s some trick out there somewhere but I don’t know it!

For the watermelon cubes, did you just freeze a bit of water with some melon?

I bought some cold pressed watermelon juice at Costco. But really you could just blend up some watermelon. You wouldn’t even have to add water.
