Today I’m Smiling Because…
~The boys got to spend an extra few days up-north this week and had a ball! They even got to visit Jurassic Park. Okay, it was Dinosaur Gardens), but still a good time.
~I made some chocolate chip cookies this week (you can find the recipe here) and am super happy with how they turned out. I made them a little smaller than normal and took them out of the oven before I totally thought they were ready. Worked great!
~Gymnastics (and Track & Field which I love too) were on last night.
~Because the boys were up-north, B and I got to sneak in a date night!
~TJMaxx has been fantastic lately. I got B some $2 gourmet beef jerky (which is a steal because beef jerky is expensive), $7 Havaianas and a pack of socks for $3! Amazing. I didn’t find what I went looking for (a lawn Connect 4 game for my cousin), but that just means I can go back.
~I’ve rediscovered Candy Crush. Actually I don’t know if that makes me smile or not ;).
