Beauty Box 5 delivers a sample box of all things beauty. Each box contains 4 – 5 samples of a variety of makeup, skin care, fragrances and everything in between! Boxes are $12/month if you do a month-to-month subscription. However, the price drops if you subscribe for an extended period.
Beauty Box 5 ships via DHL and I typically receive my box between the 10th and 15th of the month.
This box looked extra packed full.
The August 2016 Beauty Box 5 theme was “Pampering in Progress” and included the following items:
~Global Beauty Care Retinol Spa Treatment Mask (~$2.50): This is a 20-minute anti-aging mask. It’s a sheet mask, and you can rub whatever serum is left on your skin when you are down – no need to wash off.
~DID. Hair Spa Day Hair Ties ($6.50): I can always use some fresh hair ties. And maybe that “Chill Pills” one will serve as a reminder to help me to chill out.
~Olive Natural Beauty Olive Natural Beauty Elixir (~$9): I can’t find a size on this, but the card indicates that it’s not the 2oz full-size, so I estimated it to be about 1/4 of the full-size. It’s like “a daily vitamin for your skin”. You can add it to moisturizer, use after cleansing, etc. It’s designed to maintain firmness, even tone and promote cell-turnover for a glowing complexion.
~VOS Hot Oil Therapy Treatment (0.5fl.oz) ($2): A classic! I haven’t used this in ages, but I am excited to give it a go now. It’s a 60-second treatment and, to use, you just need to warm it up in hot water first. It’s all icky and rainy here today, so this will be a great day for it.
~NIKA Facial Exfoliating Brush ($17): This is the softest brush ever. I am not even kidding; it’s amazing. It’s gentle enough to be used daily and can be used with the face wash of your choice.
~Rave 4X Mega Hairspray (~$0.50): This is listed as a bonus item on this month’s information card. Sometimes you just need some old school amazing hold hair spray. I get it.
All totaled I came up with a value of $37.50 for the August 2016 Beauty Box 5. A nice value and a solid mixture of items.
