Bespoke Post delivers fresh and interesting lifestyle brands and products to men. Each month, you’ll get to choose from their limited-edition boxes filled with an array of products built around a central, unique theme. The August box selections (as seen here) were Over Easy, Cheers, Maker, Rise, Somm, and Chop.
This month’s Bespoke Post shipped via UPS Mail Innovations and took just under a week to arrive.
I have to say; I didn’t mean to select this box. It was my default choice this month, and I didn’t switch it in time. Oops.
The August 2016 “Somm” Bespoke Post box included the following items to help you get the most out of your next bottle:
~BWine Opener Barvivo: This is my favorite item in the box. I spent many years as a server at a fancy country club, and we would always have a wine key on us. Always. I lost a zillion along the way, but you better bet if I had this fancy one I would have kept it safe. It has a foil cutter and a long corkscrew plus a bottle opener.
~TWIST Adjustable Aerator HOST ($35.99): To be honest I don’t know that I have ever let my wine “breathe” before drinking it. I probably don’t have any wine nice enough to do this with. LOL! This aerator simulates up to six hours of decanting instantly. I will certainly give it a try, though! I should probably do a taste test to see if I can even tell the difference. I like wine, but I am by no means a wine connoisseur!
~Wine Preserver Private Preserve: I didn’t even know a product like this existed! You spray it in your bottle before recorking it. It works by keeping oxygen levels low which makes whatever is left in the bottle fresh longer. The can feels empty, but there is enough in there for 120 plus uses.
~Thimble Air Seal Stopper True Fabrications ($10.99): This wine stopper helps give your bottle an air tight seal. It works on any size wine bottle and is very easy to use.
~Wine Tasting Journal 33 Books Co. ($5): This little book helps you track details on wine you have tried – 33 different wines to be exact. Wines are separated by page, and you can note the Winery, Origin, Vintage, Price, etc. It even has Color and Flavor Wheels.
This wasn’t my favorite Bespoke Post box, but that’s nobody’s fault but mine. If nothing else this box has taught me some things about wine that I didn’t know prior.

My husband would love this box! Your comment about the wine key made me laugh, I was head-bartender at a restaurant several years ago and I had a nice bar and wine key that I wouldn’t let anyone use or borrow because they would get “lost”… I protected those things with my life.
You literally had to carve your name in them. And then when the wine suppliers would show up and pass out freebies? Yeah, it was a mad dash to get them! Somewhere out there someone who used to work in a restaurant or at a bar has 1000 of them he “borrowed” from his coworkers!
