Dried and True Beef Jerky August 2016 Subscription Box Review

The August 2016 Dried and True “Assorted” box included the following items:

~Dried and True Original: Original is classic jerky with hints of Worcestershire sauce, onion, and garlic.  It’s B’s favorite of the bunch (Dried and True has popped up in a few subscription boxes over the years), but it’s not plain old jerky. It’s not tough like some jerky brands are, this is soft and chewy!

~Dried and True Ginger Teriyaki: Ginger Teriyaki is flavored with real ginger and pineapple juice, then sprinkled with sesame seeds.  Like all Dried and True jerky, this is gluten-free and contains no preservatives, no nitrates and no corn syrup.  I think this is my favorite of the bunch.  It has a kick to it, but I wouldn’t call it spicy.  It’s just good!

~Dried and True Chile Limon: The final jerky in the box was their Chile Limon, which blends spicy chiles with a hint of lemon.  Now I would call this one spicy.  It’s not an overpowering spiciness, but it’s certainly there.
