The August 2016 POPSUGAR Must Have Box is here! Note: POPSUGAR sent me this box to review (it got a bit hung up by FedEx), but my POPSUGAR Must Have Box box (which I pay for) should be arriving tomorrow.
If you aren’t familiar, POPSUGAR Must Have Box is an exciting box full of fun, must-have picks across fashion, beauty, home decor, fitness, and more, which is delivered to your door on a monthly basis. Boxes include full-size products and premium items including tried-and-true classics, celebrity favorites, and brands consumers have yet to discover worth over $100!
POPSUGAR Must Have Box ships via FedEx Smart Post and takes about a week to arrive. They seem to ship in batches (no idea if there is any rhyme or reason to the order they use) so some people get their boxes delivered before other people have gotten shipping notices. Boxes were delayed this month (you can see the details on that here), and they indicated that all boxes should be shipped around the 20th of the month. If yours hasn’t shipped yet, it should be coming soon!
POPSUGAR was the first box I ever subscribed to (back in June 2012 before it even officially launched) and is still my favorite box. I LOVE them!
Week! I had been very excited to see which pattern / color I received and I was thrilled to see this one!
The August 2016 POPSUGAR Must Have Box, which was inspired by “Motivation, Organization, Order, Fresh, Transition & Back to School”, included the following items:
~Cargo Cosmetics “The Big Easy” Powder Blush ($26): Cargo’s Big Easy Blush is a buildable blush, meaning you can layer it until you find the shade that’s right for you. It’s sheer, so you aren’t going to look like you caked on a ton of makeup. It’s subtle and silky and gorgeous. Note: The box also includes a 20% off Cargo coupon code + free shipping.
~Cookie Pop Popcorn in Cookies and Cream ($4): What is this magic and why am I just now learning of it? It literally tastes like Oreo Cookie popcorn. What’s better is that there are only 150 calories per serving. And a serving is 2.5 cups, which is a lot of popcorn! Delicious!
~Unplugged Dusti Screen Cleaner (Cloud, Droplet and “Big Mistake” Eraser) ($5.95): These little guys attach to the back your phone and can be peeled off to get rid of all those smudges on the glass. I am always cleaning the camera lens on my phone (it gets all smudged in my bag) and these will be ideal. They can be washed (just run them under warm water and air dry) and reused basically until they won’t stick anymore.
~Baggu Duck Tote Bag (patterns may vary) ($26): I had been very curious which color / pattern bag I would receive and am OBSESSED with this “poppy” one I got. The tag says it’s poppy, but it’s listed as flame online. No matter. I love it! It’s made out of 100% recycled cotton canvas and has two handles and an adjustable strap. It’s roomy and just fabulous!
~Triple C Power Gloss in Silver ($30): The Triple C PowerGloss is meant to look like a lipstick container. And it really does. I have a few portable chargers like this, but I also still end up with a dead cell, so I guess I do need another.
~Christian Lacroix Paris Paseo Sticky Note Folio ($13): Fancy! Aren’t these ombre sticky notes beautiful?? I love them. They come in a sleek gold-stamped folio that almost looks like a journal. There are four different sticky note colors and 40 notes of each color.
All totaled I came up with a value of $104.95 for the August 2016 POPSUGAR Must Have Box. I liked this month’s box much better in person than I did when I saw the spoilers. Everything in here will be used, so what’s not to like?
