~Good evening! We had a nice weekend around here. We got a lot of stuff done around the house, went to the park, played a little Pokemon, cleaned the pantry and lots more. The boys even got to go to the Zoo for my Dad’s work outing. Fun stuff!
~My desk was looking a little rough, so I asked B if he thought I could paint it. He suggested contact paper instead. Genius! I bought this marble vinyl paper on Amazon and couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.
~Is anyone else planning on watching the VMA’s tonight? I am, but I am not 100% sure why? I guess because why not? Someone will do something crazy!
~Totally random, but do you think it’s too early to start decorating for Fall? I mean, I guess I know the answer (yes), so when do you think it is okay to start? Because I am itching to get some pumpkin stuff out!
That’s it from here! Have a great night!
I like to do it right after labor day but its gonna be 80s thru October!!!
That contact paper idea is genius! It looks looks like high end marble. Now I’m thinking what else can be covered with contact paper?
Someone in the Review section on Amazon mentioned they did their counters with them!
Your desk looks amazing!!
Thank you! I am so happy with how it turned out.
It’s never to early for fall decorations! Do it now!???
I like the way you think!
We had ugly laminate kitchen counters when we moved in and no budget to replace them right away, so I used marble contact paper to cover them. It worked great and lasted a good 2ish years!
I decorate for fall at the beginning of September. I live in the southwest, where we get fall weather for about 2 weeks at the end of November, so I figure, why not fake it early? ?
AMAZING!!!! Did you take before and after pictures??
Oh, wow. I was about to throw out my desk top because I can’t fix the chips and stains. Hated too, because it was from Pottery Barn and expensive. Can’t wait to try this instead.
