Target Beauty Box August 2016 Review
My August 2016 Target “Back to College” Beauty Box has arrived! This Target Beauty Box was $7 (they vary in price from $5-$10) and was available through Target’s website for a limited time only. It was released on August 1st (around 7 am EST) and was available for a few hours. It also came back in stock once during the month. Boxes are generally released on Monday’s of the first week of the month, but that does vary due to holidays. Target Beauty Box boxes are NOT subscription boxes and must be purchased individually as they are released.

The August Target Beauty Box shipped via USPS and took just over a week to arrive to me.

I love the Target Beauty Box and wish they’d just go ahead and make it a subscription already.

The Target “Back to College” Beauty Box included the following items to keep you looking and feeling like your smart self:

~up & up™ Women’s 5-Blade Razor (~$4): If you didn’t know this before you left for college, you will find out shortly – razors are expensive!  SO expensive. I remember when I was at school they used to pass out these sponsored back to school kits at the bookstore and stuff, and we’d all hoard them like crazy because they had razors in them ;).

~Juice Organics Repairing Shampoo & Conditioner – Coconut (1fl.oz each) ($2): These smell amazing!  They work to strengthen hair and protect against future damage, but really I am just into the smell. It’s like I am on vacation in the shower.

~Laneige Water Sleeping Mask (15mL) ($5.16): This has been in a bunch of Target Beauty Box boxes.  You put it on before bed, and you don’t need to wash it off till morning.  It’s not greasy and leaves your skin feeling and looking great. If I didn’t like it so much, I probably wouldn’t be so excited to keep getting this in their boxes.

~NYC Color Get It All Lip Color in PINKdigious ($2.99): This is a creamy pink lip color. I would almost describe it as a frosted pink.  Maybe not my favorite shade, but I love how creamy and moisturizing it is.

~Olay Makeup Remover Wipes ($1.40): These are a college essential.  Washing your makeup off at night is a must, and if you are too tired (from all that studying ;)), these wipes will be a life saver.

~Secret Clinical Strength Invisible Solid Antiperspirant/Deodorant ($1.20): Oh, I love this stuff! It doesn’t leave any residue and smells great.  And it keeps you smelling great too.

~CoverGirl Katy Kat Eye Mascara – Black ($6.99): This mascara was “okay”.  Not awful, not amazing.  It was a little too clumpy for my taste, but it did darken and lengthen nicely.

~Crest 3D White Professional Effects Whitestrips (Sample): The box also included a Crest 3D Whitestrips sample.  You won’t be able to tell much of a difference in your teeth from one sample, but you’ll get an idea of how this feels while on.

All totaled the August 2016 Target “Back to College” Beauty Box has a value of $23.74. I also want to mention that the box includes a $3 off $15 coupon for your next Target or Target.com beauty purchase (expires 9.3.16).  I love these boxes!

As I mentioned this box is now sold out, but I will post as soon as Target releases the next Beauty Box and will also send out an e-mail to those on my e-mail list.

Spread the love
