1. What is your favorite season? For the first month of every season (or when the weather changes for that season) THAT is my favorite season. And then after a few months of 90-degree weather with 100% humidity or below freezing “high” temperatures, I’m over it. So right now I am looking forward to Fall and the cooler weather and leaves changing color. I love living in a state with all the seasons, but then again, I have never lived in a state with a constant climate either.

2. What has been your favorite moment of the Olympics so far? I don’t even know if I can pick, I have been loving everything. The look on Simone Manuel’s face when she looked up and saw that she won gold was incredible, as was watching basically everything Michael Phelps did. I loved watching the runner win the 400m in Lane 8, the insane ending to the 10,000m open water swim, the proposal on the medal stand, the Shot Diva, the I just love it all.  I’m such a sucker for the athlete profiles.  They work SO hard and it’s just incredible.

I’m looking forward to hearing your answers!

Spread the love

My favorite is fall for sure but although it’s not a “Mother Nature” season I LOVE LOVE the Christmas season when everything’s lit up beautifully and everyone is so much more cordial and generous with the “peace towards man”. And you can’t beat an Olympic proposal on the medal stand.

Florida only has two seasons really – hurricane and construction. We get maybe 5 minutes of “fall”ish temperatures in about January.. but other than that it’s just hot. I’m 100% over it but I’m here for the next few years at least for N’s job. So I guess I have to make do. I LOVE legit fall though. I lived in NC for 2 years back in the day and it’s just completely perfect. The colors and the temperatures… and I also love just a tiny but of snow. In NC it would snow a few inches and be done. That was just about perfect.

I’m pretty much obsessed with the Olympics as a whole… but I think where my emotions completely won over was when the US women’s team won the gold in gymnastics…. and then when Aly finished her floor routine for the individual all around and just burst into tears. … I was glad I was watching that alone because N would not have let me live it down.

    Fall, it’s just the best!
The medal count… I really can’t get over it. I check on it at least once a day and am blown away!

Seasons? What are seasons? Yeah, constant climate out here, but we pay for it (did you read that the MEDIAN price for a home in San Jose is a million dollars? And that gets you a shack). Anyway, I do love spring, just because the days get longer and there is more light and the weather is all springy….like today LOL.

So many nice moments this Olympics. So many sad ones too. One that hasn’t been mentioned is when the men swimmers won the relay. 3 of the four had already won medals so they were just happy and smiling on the medal stands and then the poor rookie just burst into tears during the national anthem. With all the veterans on the mens team and Phelps one tends to forget there are others there for the first time.

OMG that guy that broke into tears was awesome!

Yeah, the real estate prices are insane out here.
