BarkBox September 2016 Subscription Box Review + Coupon Code
BarkBox is a monthly subscription box for dogs. Each monthly box contains a combination of 4-6 treats, toys, and hygiene products that have been hand-selected and approved by Scout (the dog), head product tester for BarkBox. All treats included in the boxes are sourced from the USA and Canada, and chews are sourced from the USA, Canada, South America, Australia and New Zealand, so you can be assured that your pet is only getting safe, high-quality items. Boxes can be customized based on the size of your pet, and you can add an extra toy to your box for an extra $9/month. We have been getting BarkBox for ages and have always been satisfied with them.

BarkBox
ships via DHL Global Mail (starts out with DHL and is delivered by the Post Office) and took just a few days to arrive this month. I generally expect it to arrive on or around the 20th of the month.

OMG, how cute is this packaging?

The September 2016 BarkBox was Back to School (how adorable is the composition book information card) themed and included the following items:

~Dog Ate My Homework Toy ($8): This “homework” is lined with crinkly paper, and both pages have squeakers inside.  It’s sturdy (well sturdy enough for my Yorkie) and super cute as well.

~Be Good Love Mom Sack Lunch (~$10): Another adorable school themed toy. This sack lunch has a PB&J sandwich and a cookie inside.  Buddy (my Yorkie) *might* get them out of the sack if they were actual food, but for now, we’ll just use the bag to store them.

~Yeti Dog Treat Crunchy Puffs Dog Treats ($6): These puffs only have three ingredients – yak milk, cow milk, and lime juice.  They are pretty hard (Buddy prefers more chewy / soft treats), so I am going to pass these along to my brother’s dogs.

~Doggie Deli Style Ham & Cheese Sammies ($8): Now these are Buddy treats!  They are all-natural, gluten-free and made in the USA. These treats are made out of pork, blended into an oat and barley batter with cheddar cheese.  He loves them.

~Chicken Soup for the Soul Savory Sticks ($4.99): These treats are made in the USA, and real chicken is the main ingredient.  Buddy makes quick work of these.  I was surprised how fast he gobbled one down and then looked at me like he wanted another ;).

All totaled the September 2016 BarkBox had a value of about $37.  I loved this box and think BarkBox just gets better and better!
