FabFitFun Fall 2016 Subscription Box Review + Coupon Code
fabfitfun is a quarterly monthly subscription box that includes hand-selected items (the “hottest of the season”) in beauty, fashion, fitness and wellness from the fabfitfun team. fabfitfun is billed quarterly and beginning with their Summer 2014 box; they ship to Canada!

fabfitfun ships via FedEx Smart Post. I think the “VIP” member (aka annual subscribers) boxes are supposed to ship first, but it doesn’t seem like that’s always the case. Once shipped, though, the box took about a week to arrive.

Both the outside and the inside of this box are meant to be colored!

I can’t even tell you how excited I was to get my hands on this box.

The information booklet contains not only product information but also a few articles, recipes, and interviews.  It’s a cute little mini magazine!  The Fall 2016 fabfitfun box included the following items:

~Pure Cosmetics Nude Collection Eyeshadow Palette ($50): This palette features “12 wearable shades inspired by the popular nude eye trend”. Every single color is wearable, and you can use them wet or dry.  These shadows are Paraben-Free, contain no triclosans, Silicone Free, Fragrance-Free and not tested on animals.  The only thing I wasn’t overly excited about was the packaging.  The case was hard to open, and I was afraid I was going to break the hinges.  It would still work though, so it’s not a huge deal.

~FabFitFun Coloring Book (Nature or Things) & Colored Pencils ($14): I opted for the “Things” coloring book (VIP / Select Members were given the option to choose). fabfitfun is the first of the larger subscription boxes to include a coloring book, and I am surprised it took so long for someone to do it!  I am thrilled to have it, though.  The pictures aren’t super detailed, and they will be relaxing to color.

~Modcloth Loch and Key Scarf (Black & White, Black & Brown, Navy & Green or Red & Tan) ($34.99): This is a 55′ x 55′ blanket scarf.   VIP / Select Members were given the option to choose which scarf they’d prefer, and I opted for the Red & Tan.  I have a similar scarf from Zara (?), and I LOVE it. This will go with everything, keep me super cozy and warm in the winter and will even serve as a blanket for the kids in the car when they need it.

~The Created Co. To Go Coffee Mug (“Joy Comes in the Morning” or “Good Morning Gorgeous”) ($19): Again VIP / Select subscribers could choose between two options.  I like all coffee mugs so I would have been thrilled with either, but I went for the “Good Morning Gorgeous”.  This is a single wall polypropylene tumbler – not ceramic.  Another love item for me!

~Mullein & Sparrow French Lavender Body Oil  ($18): This body oil can be used as a daily moisturizer, or you can add a small amount to the bathtub.  Lavender is supposed to be calming for your skin and your senses, so I am going to use this before bed at night.

~Skin Laundry Restoring Night Serum ($50): This serum works to improve the overall appearance of skin brightness, smoothness, tone, texture, and elasticity.  It’s too soon to see results, but it felt fine on my skin.  The ingredients list is on the long side, so you may want to check that out.

~The BrowGal Brow Gel ($20): This is a clear gel to hold your brows in place. It’s water and sweat resistant and won’t flake off during the day.  I found it easy to apply and it did the job as promised.

~Spongelle Bulgarian Rose Body Wash Infused Buffer ($16): This sponge is infused with body wash and will last for at least 14 showers.  It smells amazing, and these sponges feel like such a luxury in the shower.

~Toesox Toeless Fitness Socks ($17): I have mixed feelings on these socks.  I love the material, and I love the grippies on the bottom, but the no-toe part?  Not sure I am loving that.  My toes feel weird in them.  They feel naked.   Maybe they will get used to it after a while?

~Sponsored Items: The sponsored items in this box included Secret Deodorant Sample and Cottonelle Cleansing Cloths.  The deodorant is a great size for traveling (or your purse) and cleansing wipes always come in handy.  I don’t care what it says on the package, though, I am still not flushing them. They are supposed to break up after flushing and are sewer- and septic-safe, but I’m still weary.

~Exclusive Offers: The box had a one-page summary sheet of all the discount codes and offers for the brands featured.  I LOVE this.  Instead of seven different little sheets in the box, we got one page.

All totaled I came up with a value of $238.99 for the Fall 2016 fabfitfun box.  I LOVED this box. It was my favorite fabfitfun box to date, and I am just thrilled with it.

What do you think of the Fall 2016 fabfitfun box?  What was your favorite item from this box?  If you haven’t yet subscribed but want to get signed up, you are in luck because the Fall box is still available!
