ipsy sends its members a beautiful Glam Bag with 4-6 deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products based on your ipsy profile. Their bags always have an incredible value (well over the $10 cost), and I am always amazed at how they do it. I don’t always love everything in the bags, but I always always think it was worth my $10. They also offer a rewards system for subscribers. You can earn points by reviewing the items you get in your bags, sharing your ipsy bag on social media, etc. You can then redeem your points for products (often items which were featured in previous months) on the ipsy website.
ipsy ships around the 10th of the month via DHL Global Mail. I expect to receive my package a week after they ship.
The September 2016 ipsy theme was “Glamazon” and included the following items:
~Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask (1oz) ($4.50): This mask is a weekly treatment designed for those with dry, damaged, chemically-treated, and/or lifeless hair. We received the full-size tub in this month’s POPSUGAR, and I am happy to have a little travel-sized one so that I can keep up with the treatments. It leaves my hair more moisturized and helps with shine. I also want to mention that this is formulated without sulfates, parabens, phthalates, silicones, DEA and synthetic dyes.
~Crown Brush Ombre Angle Brush ($7.99): This brush is designed for the “high points” of your face – like cheekbones. It’s made out of soft synthetic bristles, and I don’t think you can beat the price on this one. I was surprised it has such a low price point.
~tre’StiQue Mini Highlight Stick in Maldives Luminescent (0.04oz) ($13.33): This is a cream-gel highlighter in a shimmery almost ivory color. In addition to this being a great highlighter, I also loved it as an eyeshadow.
~Be A Bombshell Cosmetics Nail Polish (Holy Fuchsia) (Full-Size) ($6): You can never go wrong with nail polish. At least not with me. I tested it briefly, and I think I am in love. This will be on all my nails in a few days. The color is a great transition between summer and fall too.
~tarte cosmetics tarteist™ lash paint mascara (3mL) ($9.86): Ohhh, this brush is fantastic. It’s longer than a lot of the other mascaras I have tried and it really lengthens. It’s also Vegan, ophthalmologist and dermatologist tested.
~The Bag: Each month of ipsy includes a different bag which matches that month’s theme. They do a great job with them, and I can’t ever recall even getting two similar ones.
All totaled I came up with a value of $41.68 for the September 2016 ipsy. They put together such an amazing bag for the price, and I am very pleased with this bag.

I received the same mask, brush and highlighter. The other two were lip balm and the eyeko eyeliner. all in all a solid month
I received a blush (like), pixi lipstick mini (meh) tiny face cream (did I mention tiny), skin toner (I never use toner), & same mascara (I love everything tarte puts out). My first bag. Kinda worth $10 but not sure I’ll keep it up.
still awaiting mine…but I love how the bag spells IPSY.
You are a genius! I didn’t even notice this!
My September bag, according to the “peek” since it hasn’t actually arrived- looks like the kind of stuff you can request from a hotel front desk for free. The only makeup items are the mascara- exciting, the product I am most likely to already own, & a highlighter stick. Neither look to be full size. No one else seems to be getting a bag so devoid of fun. The bag is ugly this month, too, imo. Incredibly disappointing.
