The October 2016 Pooch Perks was Halloween themed! My information card didn’t match the products in my box exactly, but it was pretty close.
~Wholesome Pooch Pumpkin Dog Treats ($8.50): These treats are made in the USA, all-natural and contain no preservatives. They also let Buddy get in on the everything pumpkin trend! Once opened they should be refrigerated, so keep that in mind.
~ZippyPaws Pumpkin ($4): I was a little stumped by this one. I thought it was a pineapple. LOL! I guess it’s a pumpkin? A tall skinny pumpkin. It’s cute though and doesn’t have any stuffing – just a squeaker.
~Nummy Tum Tum Pamperin’ Pumpkin Blend (~$4): This is a food supplement, so it can be used as a treat or as a food topper. I am going to use it as a food topper. And soon before my kids find it and think I put it in the dog treat area by mistake. It’s made in the USA with just three organic ingredients – pumpkin, apple, and cranberry.
~ZippyPaws Burrow Pumpkin / Bat Interactive Puzzle Dog Toy ($13.99): OMG this is adorable! Buddy (my Yorkie) will not understand this puzzle, so I am going to pass it along to my brother and SIL’s dogs.
~Bubba Rose Biscuit Company Pumpkin Cookie ($3.99): Cute! Buddy approved of the frosting (which is yogurt, carob and vegetable coloring) and spent most of his time licking it off ;).
~Exclusively Dog Smoochers Drops With Yogurt ($4.39): These are score for Buddy! They have a soft, chewy texture and are made in the USA with natural ingredients. They are wheat, corn, and soy free and were probably Buddy’s favorite treat in this entire box.
~Jolly Pets Jolly Jumper ($5.02): This is a little big for Buddy to pick up and play with so I am going to give this one to my brother and SIL’s dogs as well. You can hide treats in it and let them work to get them out on their own.
All totaled my October 2016 Pooch Perks box had a value of $43.89. I used a lot of online prices (and never include shipping in my prices) which likely accounts for the difference between the $60 stated value and my calculated value.
