~Good morning! This is the first week of school for my boys and so far, so good! They are happy with their teachers, classes, etc. and we are just getting back into our normal routine.
~Teen Mom was basically a disaster this week. A complete train wreck. I really don’t know where to start. Catelynn and her mom in the car covering up the camera to smoke? What? Maci’s mom wedding dress shopping? She was so not into it. I knew Amber had a lot of animals, but I don’t think I realized that she has that many! And Farrah, well, she was back to her old self. LOL! I’m already looking forward to next week.
~A few totally random, unrelated questions. 1) Has anyone tried the new Chobani Mezé Dips? Would you recommend? They look pretty amazing, but you just never know. 2) If you have a fitbit, do you know if you can “friend” someone with an apple watch and compare steps? I don’t think there is a way, but I thought I’d ask. 3) Have you / your children given any thought to Halloween costumes? Mine are thinking about being Pokemon guys and I am thinking I better get on finding costumes before it gets too hard!
~Oh, I got a few questions on how I got the letters so perfect on the Target Back To School signs I posted on Instagram. I did them on the computer. I took pictures of them holding the blank signs and then I used PicMonkey and added in the words! Worked perfect.

I always try to get a head start on Halloween costumes. My daughter is actually wearing the costume she was supposed to wear last year. About two hours before trick or treat she realized her costume was left at school the day before. The teacher had them put their costumes in their desks after the Halloween party. So I was one of those people in line at the last minute at Party City. My oldest will be 13 tomorrow and I don’t think he will be dressing up this year. My middle son changes his mind about 10 times before deciding on one lol.
I usually dress up for work for Halloween but this year I have the days off. I’m planning on going to the gymnastics tour of champions in tampa on sunday night.. and had vacation days left so figured i’d just go for it.
that said I accidently bid on a sailor-style pinup dress on ebay and won, so if I do anything I have that : )
Pokemon costumes are super cute, and will probably be really easy to put together! I?ve done a few Pokemon trainer closet cosplays for last minute cons. You would probably be able to do them easily with things the boys already have in their closets ? the important part is the Pokemon itself. 😉
Depending on weather, either jeans or jean shorts (khaki/cargo would work too).
Brightly coloured shirt with a brightly coloured jacket or vest on overtop
Baseball hat (again, keep everything bright!)
Backpack
I have a bunch of Pokemon plushies that I?ll just carry around with me, and I have a Pokeball toy I clip onto my belt loop, but you could probably get styrofoam balls and just paint them. (They can throw them that way, LOL!)
One thing I can alway count on: teen mom will always make me feel better about my own life choices. “I can’t deal with everything life stress…oh I know let’s get pig that’s basically like taking care of a child.” “I really want my boyfriend to propose…I should probably berate him on tv and treat him like a giant child.” They are the definition of hot mess.
First I have to say in the bottom pic I love how it looks like your son is wearing the wreath on his head! lol 😉
Teen Mom OG..they should rename it Teen Mom OMG! …. Maci: it did look like a beautiful venue for their wedding which I believe is this weekend…. No one seemed too excited to be dress shopping…lol … Amber: I don’t like pet adoption places that don’t first do home checks to make sure the animal will be ok especially if the house is already full of other animals…that poor cat did not seem happy! … Farrah: can we just get rid of her now please! or else only shoot her scenes with Derek’s family since that is the only time she can act like a normal human being… Obviously Simon is just sticking around for the airtime because I don’t know any man that would be talked to like that and think it’s acceptable… Catelyn: I have concerns of her out driving while she is smoking! I really hope she is not doing it with Nova in the car as well.. There are some times when I do think the crew should step in.. Get high all you want at home…but not when you are behind the wheel! …. and getting the pig… when you are already struggling with anxiety and depression you don’t need another living thing that you have to care for… she needs to take care of herself first…now I’m worried about the pig and hope she at least found a good home for it… maybe Chelsea could take it….love all her pics of Pete the pig…
