Birchbox Man (as pictured here) is $20/month and sends you monthly deliveries of deluxe grooming and lifestyle samples, tailored to your profile. With Birchbox Man you can try cult brands, up-and-coming lines, and everything in between.
Birchbox Man ships via USPS (through Newgistics) and arrives within the first few days of the month or the last few days or the previous month.
The November 2016 Birchbox Man included the following items:
~Anthony All-Purpose Facial Moisturizer (15mL) ($5): This moisturizer will work for all skin types. It’s not greasy or overly heavy and B’s a fan!
~Eight & Bob Egypt & Eight & Bob Original (~$4): Egypt has top notes of lemon and lavender, middle notes of nutmeg and cardamom and base notes of leather, patchouli, and sandalwood. The Original scent has notes of cedar, amber, and patchouli along with a “long-held secret ingredient (sourced from the jungles of Chile). We liked both scents, but for the price ($165 / $175 per bottle) there are other scents out there he likes more.
~Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Oil-Free Cleanser (1oz) ($3.30): This is perfect for B! He skin leans towards the oily side and we both love Kiehl’s. He’s used this in the past and has always been happy with it. He travels so much that these travel-sized products are pretty much all he ever uses.
~Level Naturals Grapefruit + Bergamot Bath Bombs ($2.50): You know, in all the years of getting Birchbox (both the men’s and women’s boxes) I don’t believe we have ever gotten a bath bomb. That said I don’t take baths, so this isn’t all that useful to me. Then again this isn’t my box either ;). It does smell good and B will eventually use it!
~Stone + Cloth Utility Case ($25): The Stone + Cloth Utility Case was our Lifestyle item this month. I didn’t love any of the choices (in addition to the Stone & Cloth Utility Case, the other options were the Harry’s All New Winston Razor and Kiko Leather Card Case) so I let Birchbox pick for us. This pouch is well-constructed and could hold your toiletries for traveling or you could put your cords / chargers in this.
All totaled, my November 2016 Birchbox Man had a value of $39.80. Because the lifestyle item (well items) weren’t a good fit for B, this month’s box was a bit of a miss. There’s always next month though!

My Dad let Birchbox pick for him as well, but he got the card case. It is so thin and flimsy that he laughed out loud when he saw it.
Not a great month for lifestyle items at all!!
