Mommy Mailbox ships via USPS during the first week of the month (or the last few days of the previous month).
The October 2016 Mommy Mailbox was curated by Dani Mari and included the following items:
~Winter White Candle by Illume ($14): Winter White is described as “Aromatic evergreen and frosted cypress are dusted with white peppercorn, spicy-cool cardamom, and a sparkling citrus nuance, perfectly wrapped in glowing amber.” It’s a gorgeous scent and has me ready for cold weather (I’m going to regret saying that when it does get cold).
~Eyeshadows by INSPR Beauty (Deep Brown and Pink Beige) ($13/each, $26): I thought at first I got two shadows by accident, but the card says “a set” of classic pressed shadows. I’m not totally sure if everyone will get the same colors, but I received “Deep Brown” and “Pink Beige.” The shadows were smooth and silky and can be applied wet or dry. I am pretty much obsessed with the Pink Beige. It’s perfect. It’s just a hint of color, but so stunning.
~Dot Socks by MMB Exclusive (~$10): These socks are a Mommy MailBox exclusive. It’s sock weather in Michigan, and these will keep my toes nice and warm.
~Chocolate Bar by Chuao Chocolatier (Caramel Apple Crush) (~$1): I know just how delicious this is going to be and I am going to save it for a special snack. If you’ve never tried Chuao Chocolates, check out their Mini Chocolate Gift Bar Sets. They are a fun way to try a bunch of flavors and make great stocking stuffers.
~Brighten Up! By Vasanti (20g) ($5.67): I love this stuff! It’s an exfoliating cleanser that’s both powerful and, at the same time, gentle enough for everyday use. It’s been in many boxes, and I have gotten amazing results from it.
All totaled I came up with a value of $56.67 for the October 2016 Mommy Mailbox. I really enjoy Mommy Mailbox boxes, and while they don’t have the most incredible value for your dollar, the curation is great, and I find myself using everything in their boxes.
