Stitch Fix is a personal styling service for women. With Stitch Fix, you provide your style, size (they also do maternity fixes), and budget preferences, and they will send you a package of stylish goodies to try on at home. You only pay for the items you love and decide to keep. There is a $20 styling fee which is applied to your order should you decide to keep any / all of the pieces.  If you don’t keep anything, you don’t receive a refund of the fee. If you keep all of the pieces, you get a 25% discount on everything!  Stitch Fix is now offering exchanges for sizing as well. Also, I should mention that you are only charged once you “check out” at Stitch Fix.  You have a few days to try everything on, and the box comes with a bag and a prepaid USPS return label so you can easily ship back the pieces you aren’t interested in.

Stitch Fix shipped via USPS this month and took just a few days to arrive. Stitch Fix ships from a few different warehouse locations in the US and shipping varies between USPS and FedEx.

I have a bad habit of leaving my “Stylist Notes” section blank on my Stitch Fix account.  I just let them go with it on my fixes and pick out whatever they think would work.  I did, however, put a link to my Stitch Fix blog reviews in my notes, which I think helps my Stylist.

My November 2016 Stitch Fix included the following pieces:

~Lila Ryan Liza Skinny Jean ($98): These jeans were super comfortable and had a ton of stretch to them.  I’d almost call them jeggings.  They were super soft, but I found them to be a little snug in odd places.  Depending on how I moved in them the fabric almost folded?  I can also see these getting really stretched out after wearing them all day.  They might be ones you need to size down in. Verdict: Returned.

~Fate Howardson Striped Lightweight Sweater ($68): I found this sweater to be flattering and easy to wear.  I wasn’t big into the neckline. It’s not quite a boatneck, but not your normal crewneck either.  If the season was different or if this was a bit thicker I would have kept this, but it’s going back. Verdict: Returned.

~Skies are Blue Edmonds One Pocket Top ($58): This was a huge no for me.  It was tight across the chest and boxy everywhere else.  I like the print(s), but this was a big miss for me.  I should probably request no button down shirts because they never fit me right. Verdict: Returned.

~Pixlet Borrego V-Neck Sweater ($58): This shirt did me no favors. The vertical stripes + me = no.  It looks almost brown in the picture, but it’s actually olive. I loved the material and the cut of this sweater (it was longer than average and I do love that), but the stripes make it a no.  Had it been a solid it would have been a keeper. Verdict: Returned.

~En Creme Tamira Hooded Cardigan ($58): Ahh, now this is my kind of sweater!  It’s cozy, it’s soft and it has a hood.  Basically those are what I look for in a sweater.  I wouldn’t call it flattering, but I don’t care because I love it so much! Verdict: Kept.

I am keeping one item from this month’s Stitch Fix, which is enough to make it a win for me.  Also, I am trying to post “actual” pictures of the pieces (well some of them), so go easy on me!  I know my nails are a train wreck, but I can’t (don’t want to) do anything until I get my stitches out.
