~Happy Sunday! We spent Saturday recovering from Trunk-or-Treat, watching football (we don’t even need to talk about the Spartans) and running errands. My parents took the boys to Greenfield Village today which they all love.

~B and I took advantage of our kid-free afternoon and went to see Girl on the Train. We both liked it!  It jumped around a lot, but Emily Blunt was amazing.

~Have you carved your pumpkins yet?  How long do you think pumpkins stay “good”?  If we carve tomorrow or Tuesday will they last until Halloween?   Any tips to keep the animals out of them?

~I tried the Trader Joe’s Chicken Cilantro Mini Wontons tonight and I’m not overly impressed.  Maybe they are better if you don’t cook them in the microwave (they probably are), but I thought they’d be crispier.  Still, 6 wontons for 2 (Weight Watchers) points isn’t too bad of a deal.

    There’s some Pinterest pins about sealing pumpkins with anything from varnish to an apoxy. Also I’ve read that when they start to shrivel you can rehydrate them in a bucket of water. Haven’t tried any of these but it sounds legit.?.?.?.

    I like to pan fry the dumplings and then add a little water to the pan to steam them!
