This box was like a dream come true for B (my husband).
Our “One of Everything” People’s Choice Beef Jerky box included the following items:
~People’s Choice Beef Sticks (~$3): The box included original, teriyaki and hot& spicy flavors. They are 100% beef and contain no chicken, pork, or meat by-products. B loved the Original best.
~People’s Choice Tasting Kitchen Orange Honey Teriyaki ($6) and Sweet Chili Habanero ($6): Orange Honey Teriyaki contains Teriyaki sauce, orange oil and honey. Sweet Chili Habanero, on the other hand, contains a dry rub of dried habanero peppers, red chili peppers, and cane sugar with a hint of pineapple. I am not a big beef jerky fan, but I loved the flavor of the Orange Honey Teriyaki. It wasn’t tough or chewy and had a sweet teriyaki flavor.
~People’s Choice Old Fashioned Original ($6) and Hot & Spicy ($6): Original (B’s favorite) is an all-natural spice blend featuring cracked black pepper and sea salt. Hot & Spicy has an all-natural spice blend featuring cracked red pepper and sea salt. It’s not that B didn’t like the Hot & Spicy, he just liked the Orignal more. All of their products are all-natural, gluten-free and contain no additives, no preservatives and no MSG.
~People’s Choice Carne Seca Limon ($6) and Carne Seca Limon Con Chile ($6): Carne Seca Limon is 100% USA beef marinated with lemon juice and an all-natural spice blend featuring sea salt. Limon Con Chile has the same lemon juice and all-natural spice blend, but it also has cracked red pepper and guajillo chili powder. The Con Chile was just a little too much for us!
~People’s Choice Tasting Kitchen Garlic Ginger ($6) and Sriracha ($6): The People’s Choice Tasting Kitchen focuses on “crafting new and interesting flavors with fresh ingredients and simple techniques”. Garlic Ginger is made using a marinade of garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame flavors. Sriracha had a little too much heat for me, but B didn’t think it was too much at all.
~People’s Choice Original Beef Jerky ($6), Teriyaki Beef Jerky ($6) and Hot & Spicy Beef Jerky ($6): I think B’s favorite of the entire bunch was the Classic Original Beef Jerky. In fact, I think the package was gone in minutes. Like all of their products it’s 100% USA Extra Lean Beef and high in protein.
All totaled the “One of Everything” People’s Choice Beef Jerky box had a value of $69. That’s slightly less than the cost of the box which surprised me a bit. I expected the value to be a little higher on this one. The beef jerky was a hit at our house, though!
