~Good morning! It’s been a busy week around here! First of all, Halloween! My boys had a ball. For the first time in years, it didn’t rain and it wasn’t freezing cold. It was cold, but not like it has been the past few years. L was a Ninja (and has already been talking about next year’s costume) and W was Squirtle (he’s a Pokemon guy). They are still over the moon with their candy and W is still amazed that people just kept giving it to him for free ;).
~L’s big field trip was yesterday. We went to Downtown Detroit and toured Ford Field (where the Detroit Lions play) and Comerica Park (where the Detroit Tigers play). It was amazing. We got to see a bunch of behind the scenes stuff like the locker rooms, dugouts, the press box, suites and they even let us go on the field. I have no idea how they’ll ever top this field trip.
~I still have a handful of boxes coming this week including Five Four Club (well maybe – it hasn’t started moving yet), Mommy Mailbox, Aster Market, Your Bijoux Box and that might just be it? My October bluum is no where to be found, so I need to e-mail then to see what’s up.
~Is anyone signing up for the Reddit Secret Santa this year? I have done it the past few years and I am going to do it again this year. I like it mainly because you could really get ANYONE. My past few matches have been so different from me and it makes it interesting to shop.
~What does everyone think of the Starbucks Unity Cups? I haven’t seen them in person, but I don’t hate them. They are green & white, which are the colors of the Spartans so how could I?? According to Reddit, the red cups will be back on the 10th!
