1. What is your skincare routine? I am sure we talked about this before, but I have been thinking about it lately so I thought I’d ask! I have some friends who SWEAR by the Rodan & Fields “Reverse” line and I have been seriously considering it. Have you tried it? Anything else you swear by?

2. Holiday Shopping! How’s it coming along? I know some people are already done (that would not be me) and some people haven’t started yet (sort of me), but how is your shopping going? Do you have a lot of people to buy for?  Do you do a lot of your shopping online or do you like to go to the actual store?

I can’t wait to hear your answers!

    1) I always change it up depending on what items I get in sub boxes or if I see a good sale. haha Right now I’m using sheet masks often and Korean beauty skincare. I love it. My skin is a lot better than it has been in a while. 🙂

    2) I have myself, my husband, my girls, and the ladies (mother, sister, SILs) done, mostly through Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals. lol Now I just need the men and nieces to shop for. The kids are easy. It’s always the men I get stuck on.

    1. Right now, I’m using up my stash Mary Kay. I’m not sure if I’ll buy more when I run out, or if I’ll try something new…

    2. I’m closer to done than I’ve ever been before! I normally wait until the semester is over (I teach college, so somewhere around Dec. 10), and then panic! But this year, the perfect gifts for several people have just showed up and I’ve taken advantage, and now I’m almost done! This may be the most relaxed Christmas I’ve ever had!

Not only did I forget the “of” between “stash” and “Mary Kay,” but I misspelled my own name! I need more sleep… 🙂

I tried goats milk soap from “goat milk stuff” in Indiana months ago on my face and haven’t stopped since. My husband uses it also. We use the “purity”. Then I started my own apple cider vinegar toner and LOVE it. I switch up moisturizers here and there but tried and true is oil of Olay’s active hydrating cream.

Almost done shopping. Ahead of my usual schedule (yay). Keeping it simple but good. I can’t wait to give all the gifts, it’s my favorite part. I wrap them beautifully and watch their face when they realize it’s theirs.

Purity is the unscented pure goats milk soap. Not the soap from philosophy.

Oh man, my skincare routine is… try to remember to wash my face? And when it feels dry maybe put some goop on it? I’m terrible. I wish I were one of those pretty ladies who always smells good, has her hair done and looks pretty in lipstick…

My skincare is all over the place as far as moisturizers… depends on the weather and time of the month, so I have to switch it up often. (Am I the only one?) Fortunately I don’t have sensitive skin so it’s usually not a problem. I never use toners or astringent, though… they dry me out so bad. I use Neutrogena Grapefruit acne wash at night and Clean & Clear Deep Action Scrub the morning. I just ordered a retexturing peel from Avon… we’ll see how that goes.
……… I REALLY wish I could answer yes to that second question. :-/

I’m so glad you asked that question. I always wonder what other’s skincare is like. I’m with Melissa though. My hair is NEVER done. It sits in one of those knot things on top my head and mascara is my staple. That’s it.

    1. Sunscreen, vitamin D, argan oil, and whatever random goop. Scarguard MD for acne and crows feet.

    2. Ha ha ha. I don’t want to talk about it.
