BarkBox Review - December 2016 + Coupon Code

BarkBox is a monthly subscription box for dogs. Each monthly box contains a combination of 4-6 treats, toys, and hygiene products that have been hand-selected and approved by Scout (the dog), head product tester for BarkBox. All treats included in the boxes are sourced from the USA and Canada, and chews are sourced from the USA, Canada, South America, Australia and New Zealand, so you can be assured that your pet is only getting safe, high-quality items. Boxes can be customized based on the size of your pet, and you can add an extra toy to your box for an extra $9/month. We have been getting BarkBox for ages and have always been satisfied with them.

BarkBox
Cost: $29/month
Ships To: The United States and Canada.  Shipping is an additional $5 to those outside the continental US and in Canada.
Coupon Code: Use code “RAMBLING” save $10 off your first BarkShop order.

BarkBox ships via DHL Global Mail (starts out with DHL and is delivered by the Post Office) and took just a few days to arrive this month. I generally expect it to arrive on or around the 20th of the month.

BarkBox always does such a great job with their themes and this one looked extra fun.

The December 2016 BarkBox theme is “Puppy, It’s Cold Outside” and included the following items:

~Hugo’s Hot Cocoa ($14):  The mug has fun crinkle material inside and the little stuffed marshmallows are removable and have a squeaker inside.  You can hide treats in the mug and then stuff the marshmallows on top to make it extra fun to find.

~Butcher’s Block Bone (~$4): The label says not for use on carpets and they aren’t kidding.   It gets pretty messy ;).  Buddy (my Yorkie) loves these though.

~Stella the Snow Bunny ($10): OMG this is so adorable!  It’s a super soft plush bunny on skis!  It’s got a little squeaker inside and is just the cutest.

~I and Love and You Nice Jerky Bites Chicken + Duck Recipe ($5.99): These are Buddy approved!  They contain 95% meat, are grain-free and made in the USA.  They have a chewy beef jerky consistency and are a good size for Buddy.

~House Pups Duck Party Platter ($6): These treats are made in the USA out of American-sourced duck meat which is blended into a batter of barley, brown rice, and oats.  An assortment of berries are then added.  These were another hit with Buddy.

All totaled the December 2016 BarkBox had a value of $39.99.  As usual they did a great job with the theme and packed the box full of quality products.
